Hi, This is my first time posting to Soul Source. I’ve enjoyed soul music for decades and have collected on & off for years. Recently I had the opportunity to buy a few boxes of 1/4” master reels from an LA producer who worked with Motown, Muscle Shoals studios, & many others. I spent that last few days going through the tapes and was happily surprised that a good amount are soul, some relatively rare & maybe some unknown. One 4 song demo really stood out to me. Unfortunately outside of the track titles the only information on the tape reads “Name of Title”. I’ve done numerous google searches but have come up with nothing. Outside of track names I only know the tape likely dates to around 1975. It may have originated in southern CA but I can not confirm this as of yet I’m hoping some of you more knowledgeable collectors might be able to recognize the song or musicians. I’ve uploaded a clip to YouTube. I’ll put a link below. I plan to add more clips soon, as all four songs are fantastic. Thank you for any information.
