When I was there they had both stores, Cherokee & Hampton. My very first trip was quite a success, pulled quite a lot out of there, used to go upstairs into that room where all the "specials" were kept, can't remember the owners name, was it something like Gwen ? A patient person can pick up a mint for around £100-120.00 for sure, I've paid less.

What you also should know is that not all original copies have their matrix number stamped, the majority are scratched in. If you look patiently you should be able to pick up an original for about £35 - 45. Good luck.

Dave, I think anything under the 100.000 Delta matrix number 'usually' means it's OK.

I have them on this EP, not sure if it's an early "original" or a later issued "original" ? I have to say that Lou Johnson is one heck of a singer and 'reach out' is a top choon but I do prefer Roy Hamilton's version.
