  1. This and "Hurt on the other side" instrumental had nothing to do with Sidney Barnes but Simon Soussan and Arthur Wright, he said he was sort persuaded to record/mix them. Only his word for that but is a very honest guy.
  2. Not all white demos are boots, the originals are on styrene with matrix stamped in it.
  3. Always liked his stuff, as with so many others would have loved to seen him live.
  4. There used to be a club called The Alphabet, probably the most frighting place I've ever visited, me and my 2 mates were the only white blokes there, they were not happy to see us The DJ bought almost everything from 2 shops (so he told us) one of them was Record Corner.

  9. Don't get too excited f there's writing on the label or not, the condition of the vinyl is more important to me. Have "Help me" by the Spellbinders with Bobby Shivers & Elouise Pennington's autograph, dated 1966 !!
  10. I have been asked by an old family friend to sell these items, all from the 70s & 80s they are rare RAF commemorative covers. One has been signed by Group Captain Sir Douglas Bader. Not really knowing what to do with them or where to go to sell them, I've put them on Ebay but would them off for sure. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Collectables-/1/m.html?item=261457410537&ssPageName=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&_ssn=watchguyone&_sac=1

  15. That might very well happen, if you see how many young people are now attending NS events, maybe they'll tire of old, balding farts telling them "back in the day lad"......
  16. I keep hearing a Belgian Popcorn single, I don't know what it's called, only that the group is either Zerrin or Rezzin and is on a green label, Aquarius. Anybody know this choon ? Any info welcome, thanks, Chris
  17. The Jerry C & Alex P have almost no matrix markings and are of a very thick vinyl, there is a way to tell by the positioning of the text, I think I did something on SS a year or 2 back.
  18. He's not a well man.............
  19. That's possible, they were manufactured by CBS/Okeh back in the 1970s and are legitimate. Once found an Eddie Parker boot in a mom & pop junk shop in Pennsylvania
