  1. Be patient mate, I saw one go for $95.00 a few months ago
  2. There are some pretty good prices there (if you're the seller) I saw that Luther Ingram, a tad ruff, thought it would go for about £150.00. As for Bobby Reed there was a time you could get over £250.00 for one, now if you're patient £100 could do it.
  3. Yes sometimes they won't bother to check, you should always say "these are large letters"
  4. Funny I paid about £2.70
  5. Well, you wouldn't think so looking at the high prices stuff going for on Ebay nowadays.
  6. Don't mind about condition but should play OK.
  7. In sympathy with the world cup being held in Brazil :
  8. I wish I had 5 copies
  9. John Manship sold one for nearly £860 2 years ago
  10. Maybe but this is far from mint .
  11. Not sure if this is a real "comedy" sale but at £300 somebody's laughing all the way to the bank. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TONY-CLARKE-Landslide-RARE-Chess-PROMO-northern-soul-45-/310994483759?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=Te%252By8Kek4S9p0FT1QCohqW81IUQ%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
  12. That early Billy Butler is quite big on the Belgian Popcorn scene, always wondered how they got to hear it way back then, the Dutch release kinda makes sense now.
  13. Seeing as today is Canada day Always liked Canadian releases, the vinyl is so thick and chunky
  14. Taken in 1969 by the young girl in the photo. 17 years old and all full of piss and vinegar, our whole lives still ahead of us.

  16. This boot just gone also for £50.00 ! https://www.ebay.com/itm/JOHNNY-SAYLES-034-I-CAN-039-T-GET-ENOUGH-OF-YOUR-LOVE-034-MONSTER-NORTHERN-LISTEN-/360883383297?nma=true&si=%252BtPwHosM9mZok%252FKE0%252FAMw%252FQuRBw%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  17. There was a whole series of records booted in the 70s, all with extremely good labels. Jerry Cook & Alex Patten even had original labels but were pressing not re-issues, just boots. From memory this lot included Barbara Mills, Hesitations, Gloria Jones plus a few others, they all were in thick chunky vinyl. Hard to tell the difference until you look close at the vinyl.
  18. Original or boot ?
  19. Yes, you're right, they did.
