  1. Did you used to go the Torch then ?
  2. There are 2 boots, the demo, it's easy to tell difference if it's thick chunky vinyl it's a boot, if it's thin flexible vinyl an original. As for the issues : Boot Original
  3. Yes you have to be careful, especially buying styli from a private seller, they could easily be used and clapped out (the seller may not even know that). Just bought a new Staton 500 in the US, for less than £30.00 including shipping.
  4. I think I once saw them being used in a Star Trek episode !
  5. They look about £50.00 each, sound about right ?
  6. Did "When we get there" ever get a German release ?
  7. He's got 3 copies, that's a relief !
  8. Paid £112.00 for mine
  9. He got £83.00 for Dee Dee Sharp - Kind of lady & £255.00 for Susan Barrett. Move over JM there's a new kid in town he can sell my records for sure
  10. Ain't that the truth....................
  11. Nice to see a £20.00 and a £5.000 record together, perhaps proof that the average (or above average) soul fan doesn't put too much store in a record's value.
  12. I use Stanton 500 series, alway worked well for me.................
  13. If you and Richard are happy with the deal then that's how it should be. I sell them from £50/55 for an EX and £80.00 for a Mint.
  14. I have a Ambers that used to jump but I played it through about 6 times with a 1 euro cent coin (or was it 2 ?) on the cartridge, plays OK now, slight click but OK for DJ-ing, likewise had a Sandy Wynns that did the same, same coin, played through a few times, seemed to do the trick, is being used around the midlands by a nearly famous DJ as we speak.
  15. Certainly optimistic https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NOLAN-PORTER-IF-I-COULD-ONLY-BE-SURE-ABC-ORIGINAL/371209493838?_trksid=p5411.c100167.m2940&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140131123730%26meid%3D39df0aa8f91c4529b18111a98c34eb41%26pid%3D100167%26prg%3D20140131123730%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D251725466597
  16. I have one I haven't tried doing anything with yet but will get round to it, otherwise just bin it
  17. Would Tyrone Davis - 'Just my luck' qualify ?
  18. No, not at all, just being successful................
  19. Say what you will but the sellers is doing very well. They just have to be genuine sales otherwise the Ebay fees would reach into the £100 bracket. Interested to see what that Dee Dee Sharp goes for, generally about £50.00, on this sort of form it could over the 100 quid.
  20. 'm not seeing that, seeing £50 - 55 for black & about £50-60 for red.
  21. Welcome to the real world...................
  22. I have to say it's really weird, same seller sold a Denis LaSalle for £150.00, there was one on "Buy Now" for £100.00 that couldn't sell, what the feck is going on ?
  23. https://www.ebay.com/itm/NORTHERN-SOUL-Chuck-Wood-Seven-Days-To-Long-Roulette-/131361318749?nma=true&si=x%252BsxWI2%252FX3i8BUMTOON1cNrqLw4%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  24. I've never really understood what "crossover" is, could you give us the 10 cents tour ? Thanks
