Thanks Mark (I think ) just checked, I used a Stanton DJ Pro 500AL, the booklet says the tracking force is 2 to 5 grams. I guess I'd better go and learn up on what that all means and how I should set my decks up proper like. Right, be back in about 2 years then !!

With nothing on TV Christiane started looking through local freebie newpapers and saw an advert for 3 days QM2, Hamburg to Southampton for £250.00 each. Leaving Hamburg the locals lined up the waterside to waive the vessel off, very moving (pardon the pun).

Bought mint Soul Twins $9.99, mint Sweet Things - World of $14.99. Sold (on Ebay) with some right gaffs. Excluded from this was a US trip 3 x Trends - Thanks for a little $25.00 each + 2 x Willie Kendricks - Change $75.00 each plus a bunch more.

There are lot of newcomers buying stuff on Ebay not really knowing what they're buying or even knowing what a pressing represents. If it's been on the telly or in that NS movie then swarms of "musthavers" seem to swoop down on Ebay and bid silly prices. £72.00 for a Darrell Banks on Stateside being a good example.

Never was a "money" record, well worth having on UK Philips, there is a dark blue Canadian Philips and European issues with pic sleeves.

They normally go for about + - £30.00, things always tend to be priced higher on JMs site. I've bought a couple of originals for about £150.00 a piece last few of months so the difference between the boot and original isn't so much.
