  1. I've not owned one of these but I think it's time I did. There seems to be a bewildering array of labels. Can anyone put them in some sort of order of rarityness ?
  2. Are you interested in buying one ?
  3. Good tune, wouldn't pay £400.00 for it though.
  4. Always liked Canadian issues vinyl, good quality pressed, they sound great. Columbian styrene is kak!!
  5. Don't you mean this ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOSES-amp-JOSHUA-GET-OUT-OF-MY-HEART-RARE-NORTHERN-SOUL-DJ-PROMO-45-NM-HEAR-/271730656405
  6. She does a good version of "Yes, I'm ready" on the Soul Time album
  7. Jay & the Techniques - Baby make your own sweet music" on UK Mercury, I guess about 1968 ?
  8. Well done, I have to say it's about the best documentary I've ever seen on NS, not too much Hovis advert, bags and dex but really does describe the scene
  9. Anybody know the name of that 15 - 20 minute documentary made I'm guessing about 1990-ish. Starts off on this very large chessboard in a football stadium ? Contains all the usual suspects but from all of the ones I have seen this is quite good.
  10. Yes, sorry, you're right. These tend to sell at about £150-ish, why I don't know
  11. The rocking crew........................
  12. Hey these things happen. Think of the very early days of the Mecca, PJ Proby Niki Hoekey, can't think of a duffer at The Torch but I'm sure there was one
  13. UK 2nd issue UK 3rd re-issue Original US issue It came out on lots of foreign labels, good fun hunting these down
  14. A very good question, about 3 - 4 years ago you could buy one for less than a fiver now they are about £20.00+ a throw depending on the issue. An EX original US Columbia will cost around £15-25 and the US re-issue not much less. On original UK CBS 7463 about £25.00 or more and the later CBS re-issue about £15 - 20. I think mine's on Australian CBS, would need to check. If you want to buy one be patient, shop around, go for the early UK CBS issue with the 4 spoked centre Good luck.
  15. Anybody know it's history Northern Soul wise ? A Wigan "pop" choon ?
  16. £140 - 160.00 but I might sell you one at £402.00
  17. Both of those coming from a seller who seems to get amazing prices, I think there must be a secret hypnotist embedded in the auction page !!
  18. Without doubt THE driving force behind all that Money stuff
  19. Buy it on US V.I.P. for about £10/15.00

  22. I seem to remember Nigel Martin having either 2 or 3 copies of circa 1973. His dad was a pilot with Canadian Pacific and used to do the records shops for Nigel. I thought that they came from Martin Koppel, anyway the story is his dad should have gotten "Love you baby" but the shop owner only had "I'm gone" so he bought them. Nigel used to get people writing to him, coming round his house and was approached all the times at venues, all begging to buy one. Ask Martin K if he remembers Nigel and/or his dad ?
