  2. Aaron Darcy, on 10 Feb 2015 - 04:18 AM, said: If that's true not only would he have to pay Ebay's fees and I reckon that's in the £1000s now and even if he cancelled every sale to get his fees back wouldn't take Ebay to sus that out. I actually bought one of his records and I have to say at a fair price, I was, going on historical bidding, expecting it to go for far more. But as the questioner asked "how do you know that ?"
  3. Very nice !
  4. There's also a rock version by a group called Flint. It's not bad, a bit E.L.O. come Gallagher and Lyle.
  5. I guess coming runner-up isn't bad at all, after all NS isn't everybody's cup of tea, especially darn South where a lot of people live and have never heard/understood NS.
  6. An American seller told me that he now sells to Brits who've just started collecting NS records. He says that they all own JMs book and bid according to that, or even more.
  7. Have to say this guy does get great prices for his records. I paid less than £100 for my copy, last year.
  8. Right got it. Don't really mind what colour label is as long as it's an original. I did see an orange one for £125.00, albeit sold some years ago, nearly treble in price in 4.5 years ?

  10. according to Pipsqueak you can pick one up for about £100.00
  11. Looks like £100.00 nowadays ?
  12. Bought a £33.00 record from an Ebay seller, he charged £5.00 for 1st class signed for, I knew that before bidding and bid accordingly. I did mention twice that I thought the cost was excessive, here's his reply. "Some records had to be posted special delivery and in that case I had to put my own money towards the cost. I new settings the p&p at a fiver would help cut my losses. Besides you new it wss a fiver before you bid so a little late to complain. On top of the postage there was cost for mailets stiffners my time and effort packaging. Petrol and finally 13.4 % ebay charges. Please don't bid in my future auctions if you are going to complain afterwards" He could have said nothing, said he'll take that into account next time or send a snotty ? Luckily the record was for a friend who was out of the country, don't we'll be buying from this guy anymore.
  13. I was afraid of that, any advice welcome.
  14. I've not owned one of these but I think it's time I did. There seems to be a bewildering array of labels. Can anyone put them in some sort of order of rarityness ?
  15. Are you interested in buying one ?
  16. Good tune, wouldn't pay £400.00 for it though.
  17. Always liked Canadian issues vinyl, good quality pressed, they sound great. Columbian styrene is kak!!

  20. Jay & the Techniques - Baby make your own sweet music" on UK Mercury, I guess about 1968 ?
  21. Well done, I have to say it's about the best documentary I've ever seen on NS, not too much Hovis advert, bags and dex but really does describe the scene
