  1. You don't see many issues about, the odd ones I've seen have all been trashed. Just how much rarer is the issue vs the demo ? Price difference ?
  2. 1 day to go............. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Records-/176985/m.html?item=261805176891&ssPageName=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&_ssn=watchguyone
  3. You really do wonder what the seller was thinking of ? Did he/she honestly think it would sell for that price or was it done during a drunken episode ?
  4. No comment.........................
  5. Always thought these were cool.
  6. There is also a Klu Klux Klan label
  7. Big at Wigan..................
  8. Not sure how you compare a football team/match with DJ-ing
  9. You're right, it's not done as it would affect the selling price, after all that's what it's all about on Ebay, selling at the highest price, no matter what.
  10. Many, many years ago when Dave Rimmer were a lad he wrote a post on an old, maybe the very 1st internet soul forum. Dave's wise words were. "Basically there are 2 types of soul fans who go to soul events. The first are returning soulies out for good night, perhaps reliving a part of their youth. The second type are those who want to hear the rarer records and aren't too bothered about the dancing aspect" Wise words indeed sir. The message must be get the right DJ for the right event, I know when I look at the DJ line-up whether is something for me or not.
  11. That doesn't answer the question. Floor is empty, what does a DJ do ?
  12. So as Benji says buy the bootleg book and if it's not clear then post a thread on here, maybe there is one already you can check in search box. Good luck Small tip, be wary of UK Ebay sellers, most if not all US Ebay sellers are oK
  13. Good for you
  14. I know that Kent does see that royalties get back to the people involved, don't think big bucks but they are due what they are due if you what I mean. Must say I do have some Kent stuff, mostly those unissued tracks.
  15. Sent to me by an American ex-colleague. Taken in 1941.
  16. Contact the seller, show him/her the photos and ask them to lodge a claim with the US post office. Then contact Paypal and try and get your money back. If it's a good seller you'll get your money back straight away. Good look
  17. Got a phishing mail today from "Epay" new one on me, anyway my account with has been blocked. Good!! It can stay that way, there isn't any money in it as I don't have one
  18. We sold a Willie Tee a few weeks ago at £750.00.
  19. It must an original, it got legitimately re-issued so many times and was never a hard record to get, booters wouldn't have made any money. I just checked my 2 copies of pink JJ Barnes Revilots, they're vinyl with scratched matrix.
  20. I've never seen a vinyl copy but there are pink Revilots that were, thinking of the Parliaments and JJ Barnes - Our love. If you bought it in the US then it's 99.9% an original, those 70s Rose Batistes were made for the UK market and didn't genrally end up on the US market.
  21. A publicity poster from the 1966 UK tour. Danny Austin on the far right.
  22. These mental prices for re-issues and boots must come from people who have just discovered or re-discovered NS and the only place they know where to find them is on Ebay. Patience and careful searching will get you what you want a decent price but please kids leave your emotions at home
