  1. It's the official CBS re-release from the 1970s.
  2. Must be the Persian issue ? Never knew that the Marvelettes were on the B side ! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/The-Velvelettes-Lonely-Lonely-Girl-Am-I-VERY-Rare-7-Mint-Mint-/131499277522?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1e9df7bcd2
  3. His real name was Pennington, yes he was married to Eller Weas Little, aka Elouise Pennington from the Spellbinders. "Another time, another place" was played at his funeral as per his instructions (before he died of course). Apparently he did put it about a bit.
  4. Meant to say "played" no idea where "build" comes from ?

  16. I've bought records with stickers showing anywhere between 75 - 85 $cents, although I understand very popular bands might well have been over the $1.00. Albums cost about $4.00.
  17. He went round a friend of mine's house during the day, knowing he was at work, said he'd come to pick up his records and needed them right away as he was leaving the country the next day. Talked his way in and helped himself to my buds records - it's called theft. I'm flabbergasted that anyone on here wants to show this person in any positive light, a leech of the 1st order.
  18. Here comes even more we've listed....................
  19. For sure, if you lived in the South the only way to know what was going on north of the Watford Gap was via magazines like Blues & Soul.
  20. Some more of our records listed................
