  1. Love those old Billboard sheets..........................who's up for nicking the Tardis and buying a load of records from then ?
  2. Yes Duke Browner & Johnny Sayles were the big "clappers" remember that happening at Torch '72, funnily enough don't remember the Highland Room crowd clapping
  3. True, we took some ruff ones to 2 separate venues before they opened to see what they sounded like, they actually sounded clear and strong but play them at home and they snap, crackle and pop.
  4. There are 1000s of obscure unknown records out there, thing is they're all crap.

  9. They come from a supplier in Detroit.
  10. Ian buys directly from the USA.
  11. US original something better than a VG pref, how plays more important than how it looks. Please do state condition & price, many thanks.
  12. Spinners - I just want to fall in love, Tyrone Davis - Just my luck, both EX, both 22cents each
  13. I've has a theory for sometime that some people put Wants up to show off and when you offer them something it's either too expensive, too Mint minus, too VG-, wrong east/west coast issue, not an original, not a re-issue, etc. Still that's better than the terds who answer you asking what your offer would be.............................. (ps got caught in a thunderstorm in Willebroek yesterday had to hide in a cafe )
  14. Velvelettes - Lonely, lonely girl am I
  15. Never, ever rated this tune, much overrated, worth about a fiver................
  16. I'm watching one, it's 1 hour 40 minutes long, made in 2003 called "Togetherness a Northern Soul Documentary". Looks good, huge file though, some 1.27GB. No idea where I got it from, well worth hunting out though.
  17. It certainly does..................
  18. I know there's a fresh lot he's got for sale, if I'm not mistaken most from Detroit although I could be wrong.
  19. In spite of the amount of bids and price there are only (at this moment) 4 bidders.

    Ben E King Rip

Indeed a true Soulman, people like him made the soul scene was it is today. Saw him about 12 years ago, he brought the house down. RIP
