  1. We're expecting a full report upon your return
  2. Is that on Troyx ?
  3. So the issue went for £670.00, that's quite a lot, seen some demos for sale at £350 - 400. Not sure if Julian Bentley still has one for sale, he was looking for that kind of price (I think) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151778856243?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  4. The small record fairs they have can be either useless or you can get some good finds. Here's a couple of sites that advertise them. https://www.ggrecords.be/fairs.php?country=Belgium https://www.platendraaier.nl/platenbeurzen/belgie/ www.platenbeurzen.com
  5. Try this too : https://www.facebook.com/groups/europeansoulclubnetwork/?fref=nf
  6. Check out the FB page "Belgium Got Soul" https://www.facebook.com/groups/belgiumgotsoul/ As for Popcorn here'sa few more : https://www.facebook.com/popcorncity1?fref=ts https://www.facebook.com/popcornoldies?fref=ts There is a large record shop in Kruibeke called Keep On Rockin', he has a lot of stuff but is expensive.
  7. This is neat.......................... https://staxman.co.uk/staxworld.html
  8. Look at what they were going for a year or two ago !!
  9. Can't blame the seller if he's honest about the record but there are some very strange buyers out there for sure.
  10. It's a re-issue the original release was "Against the rules of love". You'll find a big thread on this site. Try this............
  11. I shall be looking out for more like it in the future.
  12. Almost certainly Jamaican, I'm sure some work on the internet will produce some results. Stax records were pressed by Record Specialsts in Kingston, Ja.
  13. I've seen dark blue ones but the text has always been black, not seen silver before. These two are Jamaican.
  14. You'll find it easier to get one on Swan.
  15. Probably a UK pressed for some sort of DJ use, as I said not a major valued item, certainly unique though, good luck.
  16. Hi Pablo, not very much, I would guess about $20.00 tops. I saw a couple of these on Ebay some while ago, the seller asked quite high prices but neither of them sold. Could you post a scan of the labels ?
  17. I'm not 100% sure but I think it was Nigel Martin who brought it to the Torch in 1972 and sold it to (maybe) KM for £50.00.
  18. When were they for sale at 60p each, the 70s or 80s ? It went for £50.00 at the Torch in 1972/73.
  19. Any idea who's actually doing it ?
  20. This a Monarch pressed record with 107892 vocal side, 107492 on instrumental side. Is in styrene with a stuck on label very tough to tell from an original in a dark room ! You don't see a lot of these for sale, probably rarer than original !! Monarch pressed circa 70s An original
  21. You might even find it on one of those yellow Constellations Well worth tracking down "I'm just a fool for you" - normally for under a tenner, pure Chicago soul, Luvva Lee................
  22. He'd be able to buy lots from Ian then
  23. I know Simon Soussan befriended Arthur Wright, perhaps from that ?
  24. Guessing between £2500 - 3000 ?
