  1. You can't make it black & white, they got permission, paid Sabam, no there never was an official Belgium Tollie label, best to leave it at that.
  2. For whatever reason John seems to obtain higher prices than Ebay, well done to him. Talking to a seller the other day he thinks he can get JM's prices but doesn't seem to have done so yet.
  3. You'll need to get it shipped to a local US address to avoid those import charges otherwise it would be cheaper to go get it yourself.
  4. Probably was Ady Croasdell will know for sure. Bettye Swan & Arthur Wright worked for both labels.
  5. I know the person who organised the release he's told me the whole story.
  6. Not exactly, Sabam the Belgian licensing arm OK'd the release.
  7. + - £100.00 if you are patient, just got a minter at £110.00
  8. This is a good question. It's about a 50/50 original/boot. Money was paid to Sabam to get it legally released but it was pressed in Belgium with no money going across to the USA. Sabam doesn't really care too much as long as they get paid.

  11. Don't know how many types but there are a few people who buy them thinking they've got an original..
  12. Could well have matrix number starting with 9 or 1, (such as 98750 or 104850)
  13. You're a bad man Kegsy, your poor customer will now have nightmares leading to a massive life of depression, send him a Bell sleeve............
  14. Went to Oz meethinks..........
  15. Look at the difference between the labels, text, amount text, colours, did find some on various sites that were sold, can't say how many made but the bottom scan is a boot.
  16. She used to go out with Don Mitchell the black detective in the original Ironside tv series.
  17. There is a Soul Source person who has one, he/she posted some while ago in a thread about rare ABC issues, there's also one in Australia and Japan. Rare it sure is.
  18. Booted on a Simon S "Wright Sounds" boot plus Virtue. 1st scan is original, 2nd a recent look-a-like
  19. Is this a question ?
  20. I'm sure that the boots are in vinyl not styrene. I have styrene originals from Okeh with scratched matrix so I wouldn't worry about it.
  21. I've seen them at about £300 - 380 for sale.
  22. You do kind of wonder who these people are buying re-issues at bonkers prices..............
  23. Whoops !! need to go back school and/or Specsavers !!
  24. Yes I have read the descriptions, I think he may be wrong about the Johnny Sayles, looks OK to me, I always thought DJ Copy's were legit.
