  1. Probably on "Wright Sounds" a S Soussan label.
  2. Well done !! they're still out there.........
  3. Flip the record, the B side is pretty good too.
  4. Always liked Canadian issues, generally better quality reproduction, well done care to share with us how you paid ?
  5. I am away for a few weeks so can't exactly say what's on the run-out apart from that there is a machined stamp matrix on it.
  6. Rockin' actually arranged by Arthur Wright, he arranged all Bettye Swan's Money stuff
  7. Pete, it's THE Frank Wilson of the Belgian Popcorn scene. 1st played there about 1973 by one of the big Popcorn DJs Gilbert Govaert. Is there a name with that "wants" ? Chris
  8. There are probably 500 answers to this or just as many as people reply. For me Rare Soul is just about how rare the record is (the infamous "only 3 known copies" brigade) with quality of the tune coming second. With Northern it (should) be the other way around although having said that there are some humdingers in NS that should be in the trash can. Get ready for a very short or very long thread
  9. Whoops !! should have gone to Specsavers !!
  10. Have you tried the "Wanted" section ? I know Andrea Ko was looking for for one maybe he got several offers ?
  11. If you want to know what's going on this is a neat FB page : https://www.facebook.com/groups/belgiumgotsoul/
  12. Correct (or were) cleaned up their act in in 1990s.
  13. I have hem somewhere Chalky, stamp Paid 2500 Belgian Francs to Sabam, I think I filed them with some old Flemish recipes...................er no.......I wasn't involved it was the 1970s.............. enjoy your weekend..............
  14. You can't make it black & white, they got permission, paid Sabam, no there never was an official Belgium Tollie label, best to leave it at that.
  15. For whatever reason John seems to obtain higher prices than Ebay, well done to him. Talking to a seller the other day he thinks he can get JM's prices but doesn't seem to have done so yet.
  16. You'll need to get it shipped to a local US address to avoid those import charges otherwise it would be cheaper to go get it yourself.
  17. Probably was Ady Croasdell will know for sure. Bettye Swan & Arthur Wright worked for both labels.
  18. I know the person who organised the release he's told me the whole story.
  19. Not exactly, Sabam the Belgian licensing arm OK'd the release.
  20. + - £100.00 if you are patient, just got a minter at £110.00
  21. This is a good question. It's about a 50/50 original/boot. Money was paid to Sabam to get it legally released but it was pressed in Belgium with no money going across to the USA. Sabam doesn't really care too much as long as they get paid.
  22. https://www.ebay.com/itm/TRADE-MARTIN-She-put-the-hurt-on-me-Son-of-a-millionaire-NORTHERN-soul-45-e1503-/201425212395?hash=item2ee5e0d3eb This will give you a guide.
  23. Choice of demo or issue, not sure how legitimate they are : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/The-Enchantments-Im-In-Love-With-Your-Daughter-Northern-Soul-45-/131574705331?hash=item1ea276acb3 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/THEE-ENCHANTMENTS-THE-FOUR-TEM-I-M-IN-LOVE-WITH-YOUR-DAUGHTER-VINYL-7INCH-NEW-/311419422121?hash=item48820b45a9
  24. Don't know how many types but there are a few people who buy them thinking they've got an original..
