The original US Motown EPs are well worth collecting. Made for juke boxes they often come with the paper strips. I have a Miracles & Supremes not sure how many others there are, meethinks a Four Tops & Temptations for sure. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301794043312?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT A tad optimistic meethinks..........
  3. I've only ever seen those white 1 sided demos under "Rules of love" although there are some single-sided with "Laws of love". They all go for anywhere £150 - £250.00
  4. Not as far as I know, it came out on French single and is on an album, the other version is of course James Barnett.
  5. He does say "low opening bid"
  6. One went on Ebay 2 weeks ago at ...................................................... https://www.popsike.com/The-7TH-Avenue-Aviators-1965-You-Should-O-Held-On-Congress-CG255-Promo-Rare-NM/252147989576.html
  7. How about this ? https://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-34747508
  8. The way things are going I'd say Ebay, if they will allow you to list that many items I'd do it. What you will find is that the more rarer, in demand items will pull the lesser desirable along with them. In any case good luck, you should try here too.
  9. They played it on a repro Harthon label at a venue I was at last night.
  10. 6 days to go and already £125.00 how rare is this repro ?
  11. Probably somewhere between £25 - 30.00, foreign (non US or UK) are not top of a lot collectors list. Always like the Canadian Epic Major Lance - You don't want me no more, rare as heck goes for about 1/2 the US Okeh one.
  12. Decent condition, anything maybe better than VG (so VG+ onwards) many thanks.
  13. There is a thread on this somewhere. By all accounts seller knew it was a boot.
  14. Exactly, you'd better off buying an original on Revilot.
  15. Free shipping..................
  16. THE VALENTINES – BREAKAWAY – SOUND STAGE 7 WHITE DEMO M 150 SOLD Well done, good price
  17. All now sold that needed to be. Darrell Banks Love you.mp3
  18. Nice looking label, there's even a telephone number you can call
  19. Yes he was a very weird man, I heard him talking to the people who run McCoys estate, I think he's been sniffing too much, too long. Chris Bartley on the other hand was a real gent, polite, gentle and just great to spend time with.
  20. Following on there's an album well worth searching out. It's called Van McCoy & friends - Dancin'. On it are some previously unreleased tunes, with Chris Bartley (although uncredited) singing a few. Best track (for me) is "Help is on the way".

Was looking through Kev Roberts Top 500 this morning, dated 2003, he priced Jack Montgomery at £150.00, you can still find a decent copy at this price(ish) today.
  22. Chris Jackson was/is the name used by UK Soul City records to avoid any legal conflict, real name Marke Jackson. Chris Bartley is a completely different person, Both Marke & Chris worked with Van McCoy, Bartley staying quite a few years with McCoy on different labels.
