  1. Maybe even more !!
  2. One has to admit that people are bidding on these boots at very silly prices is very worrying. At what time do they wake up and realise they've bought a £10 bootleg/re-issue and paid £200.00 for it ?
  3. Probably £800 - 1000
  4. Just got me one of these crackers.................bullet, indestructible. Made in the Soviet Union days from old Swiss machinery, 30 jewels, ticking away quite nicely thank you...........
  5. I just love this...................................
  6. Those Ebay seller that use the Ebay Global Shipping System have no feckling idea and should fed to alligators.
  7. I live in Belgium and I buy stuff with values around $30 - 50 and don't pay import duty.
  8. I should have qualified that remark I meant to say "those cheapskate Norwegians only buy low priced records"
  9. Anybody got any experience or advice for someone who wants to return a record after 6 1/2 weeks ? I have to say the buyer did say she wasn't happy with it and I asked her if she wanted to return (about a week after sale completed) but I never heard back. Just wondering why the heck she's waited almot 2 months to do something ?
  10. If you're patient you should be able to get one £220. - 250 try and get the best condition you can.
  11. JJ Jackson "But it's alright". Calla, Warner Brothers US, Polydor, Warner Brothers UK, Mojo, American Pie, Allied and probably more.
  12. Not necessarily, the EEU has no duty/tax agreements with many countries the UK could and probably would impose VAT. The sheer volume of traffic between the EEU and the UK will mean that it's in everyone's (read - Germany) interest to try and keep as much as the existing system as possible. We'll all know in a couple of months, I sell into Switzerland and Norway and my buyers don't pay any import duties or VAT.
  13. I have both album and the 70s released UK single, the album used to be a £150+ item but now it's easily under £100.00, the "original" 70s single goes for about £10-15.00. You can buy the recent look-a-like boots for about £5 - 8.00. I have to say it easier to handle and play the single.
  14. Well you did twist my arm, I really wanted £200.00 for it
  15. Yes Willy Hutch, there was another release at the same time with Eddie Regan - Playing hide & seek, couldn't tell you what other side twas............
  16. This is the 1st 1970s release, are they legitimate ?
  17. This one looks even different ?
  18. We all know this is on the album "Piece of the action" but it did come out on a UK ABC single in the 1970's. Was this a legitimate release that came from ABC records ? I know there's a recent look-a-like that I have to assume is a "boot". How can you tell the 1970s from the new issue ?
  19. Isley Brothers - Tell me it's just a rumour
  20. As always it's in the run-out.
  21. Taken a Ropley, boy they got some cool looking steam locos there.......................................
  22. I interviewed Chris Bartley about 8 or 9 years ago he said there is stuff from Van McCoy squirreled away all over the place.
  23. The Bobby Hutton & Van McCoy album now sold.
  24. The 2 bidders have very low feedbacks I suspect new to the scene/Ebay.
