  4. Well, they're both good(ish) but nothing epitomises British sixties music like "Tell me" - I actually have it sung by Helen Shapiro in French.
  5. Probably will sell this, immaculate Tissot PR516
  6. This is and remains one of my favourites. Made in the US of Swiss components, sometime in the 1970s for Ford Motor Company customers, given at racing events, not that valuable they go for about £50 - 60.00.
  7. Merge ahead lad.......................
  8. Draw all the curtains, put all the lights out and no empty milk bottles outside..........
  9. Check this out : ME : Hello, can you please tell with whom you have sent this item ? I don't recognise the tracking number, thanks, Chris SELLER : Hello,As you have used the Ebay GSP Shipping Centre, we do not hold the tracking information for this. Should you wish to know who your item is being delivered by, you will need to contact them. Kind Regards Kat ME : Hello, I didn't choose the Ebay system you must have done or they've done it without your permission. Not a great state of affairs is it ? SELLER : Hello,The Ebay GSP Shipping Centre is automatically selected by default when it is an international sale to keep down postage and packaging costs. As your package is going to Belgium, this would have otherwise cost around £20 for you to receive it directly from us, however, through the shipping centre it has only cost around £8. I apologise if this is not your preferred method of transportation, and that Ebay does not make this clearer when you are checking out. Kind Regards Kat ME : The package has not arrived yet I will be putting in a claim and requesting a 100% refund Think old Kat is in for a shock when's she's out of pocket for the postal costs, what a farce.
  10. Seller was asking about that for it, offered him £16 but he turned it down.
  11. Somehow John does seem to get exceptional prices, good for him and his customers (sellers that is) not sure that anyone else would get that sort of money. The most expensive one sold on Ebay was mine.
  12. Oh my !! Sold mine this year for £211.00 !! Was only an "EX" but was a DJ copy, heavens above !!
  13. Here's a couple of different label designs, you wonder hwy that would happen to a small label with small quantaties ?
  14. The one I saw also different no vertical stripes.
  15. We only played it on a portable record player in a hall with lots of noise so was tough to really hear. They play the Class Mates version over here a Popcorn choon
  16. There is another version of "Sold on you" by Johnny Moore on Bright Star. It's called something like "I'm sold on your love" it's also on Bright Star but a different label design. Anybody know who it's by and what it's worth ? Chris
  17. Thanks for the info, wonder what the reasoning was behind the record catalogue number ? Why go to all the trouble and then put the wrong number on the label. Certainly will fool lots of people.
  18. The original of this goes anywhere from crazy to well mental prices, £500 is not unthinkable, why is then that a sort of re-issue struggles to get £25.00? Is that re-issue legit? it certainly looks like it is.
  19. Can't comment on its rarity but expensive it is not, you have been able to buy them on UK Atlantic for about £40 - 60, some even quite recently. Our scene is being overtaken by aliens I'm sure.
  20. I almost exclusively sell on Ebay, don't ask me why but I get much higher prices than selling via other mediums. All the "biggies" seem to get above market prices just be careful about record grading be conservative. My advice would be sell only the well known biggies and the very rare stuff, be aware there are of course no guarantees so you could end up with a low-ish end price. Good luck.
  21. You should get one for about £500 just depends on how patient you are.
  22. Watching that Chubby Chrecker go for over £1000 probably tells us it hasn't kicked in yet.
