  13. Interesting, this very rare and secret photo is Richard Searling & Kev Roberts caught in the act of stitching up Neil Jones. Apparently they convinced Neils mum that the bottle only contained milk, fortified, so they said, with vitamins. During an extremely bizarre ritual after the infamous "bottle" incident both Richard & Kev somehow put Neil in a trance so that in July 2007 he would walk into the Kings Hall and ask to do the graveyard slot at 05.00am.............................them's weird people them's northerners am.....................
  14. Actually called the Atalanta, built as a ballroom in the late 1800's. We used to go there from Walton, Hersham, West Byfleet, etc. all meet up on the train. Get to Woking station, down the new bit, past the Albion pub. We'd always be there before the place opened, queing up was always a part of the experience. The DJ Bob Potter used to play a reel to reel tape whilst setting up the decks. It was the same tape for all the times I went there, which I guess must have been for about 2 years. Tracks were Behind a painted smile - Isley Bros, Right Traclk - Billy Butler, People - the Tymes, Help Me - Spellbinders, Sly & Family Stone - Everyday people, can't remember the rest. The wooden dance floor used to bend when it got full and a popular record came on. Boy!! spooky I can remember all this stuff, I have no idea what I had for tea last night..........

Must have been some severe rattling of cappacino cups and snorting Range Rovers lad !! How about Birds Nest West Hampstead every thursday night, sounds to rival any Northern venue, run by Dave Burton & Dave Rivers, with some assistance from Mick Smith (kind of) a lot of sounds being broke at the Mecca and Torch came from this place believe it or not.

  21. Never heard of 'em but here's a pic. https://www.huckleberrysmenswear.co.uk/ikon...atio-shoe-black If you lived in the London there was only ONE place to buy shoes, in fact all clothes, the Ivy Shop in Richmond, the original proprietor is still alive and kicking. It was worth going just to listen to the soul music they played there. The Ivy Shop also spawned Quincy's also in Richmond. https://j.simons.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/index.jhtml I guess where you live/lived kinda dictates the clothing maybe ?
