Hope you got it OK, always thought this was a boss sound. Meethinks it was an old Twisted Wheel sound for some weird reason not get an original UK release, strange as "I spy" was a hit............. Did it ever get played at the Torch ?
Now here's something you don't see everyday. An original mini-album from Smokey Robinson and The Miracles.
Tracks are :
· Tracks of my tears
· Going to a go go
· Ooh baby baby
· My girl has gone
· Choosy beggar
· In case you need love
These were made to put into juke-boxes back in the 1960's - this one is mint, album cover still in plastic cover, included are the full set of juke-box tickets and a miniature album cover photo. £15.00 + £2.00 UK shipping costs, all sorts of payment methods accepted. Thanks for looking.
Most R n B I've heard sounds like it's been recorded in an airport toilet. The ONLY reason it's barged it's way onto the soul scene is that people who "didn't make it" first time round or have come on the the scene much later want to make (or to be seen making) a contribution today and as most, if not pretty much all, Motownesque sounds (Motown is 50 years old today !!) have been discovered and played on the scene only this low 'nee' no quality R n B is out there. R n B gets camoulflaged as being "the" progressive soul sound of today, never was so much poppycock written by so few................
Like Rock & Roll? Webby, don't insult the Rockers of this world.....................

Thanks to the 57 people who replied ...............all sorted now I would also like to take this opportunity to publically thank
Julian Bentley...................as you all know Julian was awarded the Medal Of Valour from the RSPCA for rescueing a tadpole from
a puddle on his front driveway, the citation reads "Whilst under heavy fire from passing pidgeons Julian persevered and sucessfully in scooped up Trebor the Tadpole and carried him to safe waters, never once thinking of himself or his bank account" good going
Julie...... Julian has a been a supplier of fine vinyl ever since those early days down Manchester way, in spite of the fact it rains
there 99.9% of the time Julian was always there to greet me with outstreched palm, thanks mate..............
One of the traits of getting old is that I can remember something from I was 5 years old, but not what happened
a week ago. Remind me, is it you Paul or Malc organising the re-union this year ??? Sorry I'll go and sit in the corner
now
I expect a huge mass flooding of Northern Soul fans in the streets at cinemas that show the movie. the Police will
be hard pressed to control the crowds as they "push from the back" to get into the theatres. I predict dancing
in the isles, flooded toilets & loadsa hand-clapping. The makers will end up becoming millionaires and moving out to
the Cayman islands to bank their easily gotten gains..........becoming fat cats in a matter of hours.............

Over 30 Northern Soul favourites, including Christine Cooper, Younghearts, Dells, Chalfontes, etc
Good luck & good bidding.
Coming up from the South as a cocky, know all Londoner, we were knocked out by the style, intensity
and quality of the dancing, we wouldn't have dared to try emulate the locals, although a mate of mine picked it up really quickly
