  1. 14s still got mine.............
  2. If you use the Purchase Goods or Services function you will be 100% protected. If you use the Friends and Family one you are not covered. Unfortunately most sellers (not me though) do ask for payment via F & F that way avoiding any commission that Paypal will deduct, if you're buying on here that way do discuss this with the seller.
  3. You mean Friends & Family ? No only if you use Purchased Goods. In the future I suggest you make all purchases that way (unless you know and trust seller 100000000%) and add the Paypal commision so seller gets 100% net amount, you don't pay more (I think).
  4. Wotz a F & F ?
  5. Yes mate, I send EVERYTHING recorded at just about £2.30 well worth it and if it's multiple amounts then special delivery at around £7-8.00. I will have some £10.00 sounds for sale on Ebay on Sunday evening they will ONLY be sent signed for.
  6. Here's a sure fire way to get reimbursed. Put in a claim for non-receipt of goods, Paypal will demand recipient for proof of posting (tracking number) he/she wont be able to provide it and Paypal will reimburse you. Good luck........
  7. They have gone for more and they don't come up often, £400 should be the max but with Ebay nowadays anythings possible.
  8. Probably about £300/400.00
  9. The majority of West Coast Okeh releases had matrix scratched in instead of being stamped. Remember Okeh had an LA office & studios where Williams, Watson, Richard, Triumphs etc recorded, most of their have scratched matrixes.

Yes there are 2 versions one plain white other with square on label. There my well be boots out there but generally it's a low cost record so maybe not.
  12. Great record but you can buy 5 equal quality sounds for that price. Guess somebody's happy.
  13. Hanging round Record Corner 1971/72, Tony Rounce put us onto the NS scene.
  14. This a 70s boot, no "severe" dip, there is a dip though. Just like this one from Ebay.
  15. Excuse me, this is a 1970s boot ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOSES-SMITH-THE-GIRL-ACROSS-THE-STREET-US-DIONN-45-/391854422275?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=LAuZ8Tb63E52gtszPfeGzdKXqug%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

Original demos don't come up that often £1000 sounds about right for today's market, maybe more if sold with JM, good luck.
  17. Not even worth 199.00
  18. Use carton record sleeves, put them carton boxes somewhere in a cupboard.
  19. Yet another I've just bought.....................must really stop doing this.............
  20. Yes principles are the same.
  21. Don't forget there will be lots of add-ons with air freight, you must always ask what they are, such as customs clearance, files costs, pick-up, delivery, consolidation costs, etc.
  22. You should plan this as carefully as you can. For a couple of singles post is best, for anything from 20 to 100 someone like UPS (NOT USPS) try one of the parcel discount places like ParcelHero or Parcel2Go they'll give best rates. For larger amounts try an air freight forwarder like Ziegler I've shipped thousands of records with them. https://www.ziegler.co.uk/websites/ziegleruk.nsf/pages/2E604E82C5CAF198C1257799002AB11B?OpenDocument# If I were you I'd start weighing lots of singles so you can build up an idea of whom you would ship with so that when you've done your buying you can start the shipping process straight away. I have 35+ years experience of worldwide air & sea freight shipping. There are other things you can do to reduce costs. Good luck.
  23. You're right doesn't come up much but it's very much for a certain type of buyer, an EX should cost about £500/700.
  24. That's twice of the highest I've ever seen sell, well done somebody.
