The "dummies test" is to check the thickness of the vinyl, if it's really, really thin then it's an original, if it's on the thick side then it's a 70ts re-issue-boot type thing. Good luck.

The next day I was listening to Richard Searling show and he commented and a record that had handwriting on it finishing the sentence with "just like Jon Slater who used to sign his name on all his records" I wonder who Jon Slater was ?
