    Only a handful of copies, yes agree in this age condition doesn't seem to matter for records like this to go for silly money. Must say I prefer a more mid tempo crossover sound these days. Easier on the legs lol

    There's a tune even faster than this I used to play covered up as Micky valvano and the C.O.D's by Rico Barr and Boston barristers in the 80's. Yea agree this was a little fast even back then

    The issue label in the picture looks like a boot as the blue is to pale but I'm sure Mick H had a original issue of this and maybe Carl fortnum I'll check with them when I get home. I don't recall seeing any boots of this superb tune but nothings scared these days.

    Their best unreleased track by a country mile originally played at Stafford by guy Hennigan as the Del_phis let this torch burn. Was great to see them sing it live at the cleethorpes weekender a few years ago hairs stood up on back of my neck

    Going stir crazy guys and gals, missing your weekend fix of soul?? Due to the coronavirus. Well problem is solved we could have facetime allnighters or dj's could do live streams from home and you could dance in your living room or kitchen, you could email your requests.

    Well when I started this thread it was to see what response it would get from promoter's large and small and as I stated it wouldn't surprise me if at least one major event didn't see fit to cancel, unscrupulous promoters in it for the money, sod people's health, Prestatyn proved me right. If you need a soul fix stay home play music dance in your kitchen, let's not spread this desease further. We don't need to loose more friends

    People should take it serious as its now mutated and will be harder to find a cure. Like chalky stated most venues are run by amateurs and on the cheap, I'm sure most are sensible and would cancel dates if needed. If this isn't taken serious by everyone on the planet we could end up like the dinosaurs. This as not reached Africa yet, when it does with the poor facilities they have it will spread like wild fire

    That's great to see its being taken seriously, As we know there can be some very unscrupulous promoters at times.

    That was my thoughts too. Hopefully none will be cancelled but when it comes to people's health then you would like to think the venue and promoter would cancel if the need arises. Be good to hear from any promoters with their thoughts on this.

    OK it's here the coronavirus spreading around the country daily so Promoters of the big weekenders and larger venues, I ask this if it turns to an epidemic are you going to cancel your venue,

    Trouble is at some venues there's so many records behind the decks numerous boxes in many cases it only takes a few seconds for someone to lift some if the dj is distracted by someone asking for a request. The decks area should be a no go area like chalky said.
