    ruby winters had been round long before the 90's the other side was a big wheel spin if I remember right and I first spun BETTER covered up as Yvonne Baker in late 85 at notts rock city

    Hi Jason roughly around £100 to £150 id say picked one up off evil bay last year for $86 though remember when Keb first played it as the les chansonettes nice tune may spin it at skeggy good look with the search atb Steve Phillis

    found this in a record shop that used to be at the bottom end of bath street Ilkeston derbys in 78 payed 50p for it at the time until a couple of years ago had never seen another copy so its deffo rare eventually sold it in 82 to rob smith when I sold my first collection always rated it

    grapevine was the first lp release the Detroit ago go came a year or so later originally spun by MR Searling at the casino was relatively big for a while then got lost amongst all the other quality tunes he was playing :thumbsup:

    tommy ridgely and Wilbur Walton were both sam spins from that period remember jonothan running a coach from notts up to the casino around this time to support sam on his first night back at the casino awesome night

    brill track always loved it from when Jim wensoria first unleashed it to a stunned Friday night crowd at Rock city Notts along with a shed load of other stuff . it came from Kev Roberts who had a garage full of stuff for sale me and Rob Smith went to see what he'd got and Jimmy had literally just left with the J.D. Bryant and some acetates namely the Adlibs always be in style and Sandi Sheldon standing in the need plus some other bits :thumbsup: good luck with the hunt for one

    Hi Chalky Tommy Ridgley was originally played by Jonathan covered up as johnny robinson in late 78 Richard never played it to my knowledge never heard john play it either was defo a notts palias spin for johathan along with frank Beverly " because my heart " covered as james faircough

    there a reggae record by a Larry Clinton on a obscure jamacian label was listed on ebay a couple of months back .not sure if it was same guy no sound file

    He's mistaken John first copy defo Rob Smith shop it came from a Nottingham soul collector Mick Gordon from Beeston good friend of John Poole, The late Andy Lee. there was some great stuff in the collection including a full run of Mirwood demo's a Jackie Beavers on revilot plus a load of Renfro stuff
