  11. found this in a record shop that used to be at the bottom end of bath street Ilkeston derbys in 78 payed 50p for it at the time until a couple of years ago had never seen another copy so its deffo rare eventually sold it in 82 to rob smith when I sold my first collection always rated it

  18. grapevine was the first lp release the Detroit ago go came a year or so later originally spun by MR Searling at the casino was relatively big for a while then got lost amongst all the other quality tunes he was playing :thumbsup:

  22. brill track always loved it from when Jim wensoria first unleashed it to a stunned Friday night crowd at Rock city Notts along with a shed load of other stuff . it came from Kev Roberts who had a garage full of stuff for sale me and Rob Smith went to see what he'd got and Jimmy had literally just left with the J.D. Bryant and some acetates namely the Adlibs always be in style and Sandi Sheldon standing in the need plus some other bits :thumbsup: good luck with the hunt for one
  23. Hi Chalky Tommy Ridgley was originally played by Jonathan covered up as johnny robinson in late 78 Richard never played it to my knowledge never heard john play it either was defo a notts palias spin for johathan along with frank Beverly " because my heart " covered as james faircough
