Had one from Rod Shard for £50 in the mid nineties, then swapped it with Butch for Danny Williams-All These Lies on Musical Energy, when it was about £500. How did I know it was on the up . Still whince when I play my Danny Williams..... Dave

Check out www.dcsoulrecordings.com for a full discography and a scan of the album. I believe it was just tracks that came out as 45's on the album, but it does include the rare 'Mr Sunshine ' which I recently picked up on 45. This is a bit more downtempo than 'Hey mama' and kind of reminds me of a flowers type groover. it's great anyway! Dave

Gonna ruin the aesthetic of all those 45's if you have to start using different middles Rod. You'd be better off just not getting any more records.

I had one of these from Gary Blacknight as well-I remember him bigging this up to me-he probably had a few!! Tell you what though, I can see the yellow label but cant remember who it's by so now it's gonna take me all night trawling the racks trying to find it! Great record but beware two different mixes! I have it on a plain yellow P.S and our kid's is on a fancy yellow and red P.S . His fortunately is a much poorer mix with the backing track being well down if I remember correctly. Dave Ripolles
