I had three copies. Two sold for roughly 800 each this year. Which was the agreed going rate. Incidentally, Tim Brown had one on a list this year for I think 2 or 300. Guessing it went pretty quickly. Rarenorthernsoul prices are a joke as has often been flagged up many times but good luck if there are collectors out there willing to pay over the odds.

Sad day today with Eddie & Rance leaving us. The Hy-Tones YDEKMN was one of the first northern tunes I totally fell in love in the late eighties as a teenager. RIP Eddie. Was Eddie related to Wendy (Rene) Frierson and thus James (fry) Frierson?

Darrell Banks - Open The Door To Your Heart 2014 London
Harrogatesoul replied to a topic in Look At Your Box
Why on earth you wouldn't go through John or Tim or Darren/Pat is anyone's guess. If you're buying or selling at that level you would know you'd get top prices without anyone paying commissions on purchases AND sales from these leading dealers. Seller can obviously afford to lose several thousands ££££.... Madness. -

Jerry Ross - Of course. The romantic in me has me wishing Jackie Ross. Albeit a young Jackie. No more rabbit holes today but tomorrow is another day! Thanks Ken. From the very much missed Bob A - As ever a little nugget of info pulled from a YouTube post. sittinginthepark10 years ago nice record from Evanston, IL, just north of Chicago. Bobby Robinson, the producer, told me he talks to her every few years. she has a second record on Dee Dee also that is rarer but it's not as nice as this one.
