Agreed. And could be a real collectors event - personal sales boxes, dealers wanting rid of 'that slow stuff' that quite a few often state.... I think coupled with events mentioned like Just Soul / Jim Wray room etc there's plenty of appeal and room in the calendar - Slow Soul event isn't exactly going to clash with your out and out northern events is it? Oh and Baz Atkinson to do a 8 Hour Spot and release that built up deep ballad tension!

I would love to think so Russ. A chilled evening of great deep soul/ballads would appeal to quite a few I dare say. Been mentioned a couple of times on SS. Plenty of folk out there who appreciate the slower side of soul. Me included!

Popsike seems to indicate around £50 / £60 for a minter. The flip however ' Tired of being Your Fool' is THE side for me. Great artist and highly collectable what with his incredible Petcol / Rambler 45s etc. Nice record. Incidentally there is a great original promo photo on ebay right now from the editor of Soul Survivor magazine.

Can't recall ever seeing one for sale ever! What price?? If I recall correctly was it the Bill Dennis 45 that was thought to be un-issued and only available from an original acetate or am I thinking of another Bill Dennis acetate?

Disgustingly rare UK Sue 45. Remember many many moons ago (maybe a Record Collector mag) that it wasn't thought to exist. And such an iconic label steeped in UK soul/R&B history.

Then that's what I was missing Adam! I'd say chuck it on ebay with a decent write up etc and see how it goes. You never know on ebay these days!
