    Started buying soul records at age 13 and been into the music ever since. Most of my records in my younger days were bought from Cliff Steele in Northampton.Also into Mod scene and still own 2 Lambretta scooters which I ride when the sun shines.

    Our regular Northern soul night returns on 6th January 2024 starts at 730pm with our special guest dj Kev Such. Cogenhoe club is east of Northampton in a village location. Large wooden dancefloor and club drink prices, friendly club all welcome. Regular dj's Phil Swain and Adam Sawford playing across the board soul sounds. Please do not use talc etc at this venue, we have a great dancefloor you really don't need it.

    Good to hear, l work at South Midlands mail centre in Northampton as a lorry driver serving the LE,NN,MK,CV postcodes, believe it or not us postmen do actually try our best to get mail delivered ASAP as we are obviously customers too also waiting for our records etc, my last one from USA also only took about 8 days recently, l think most of that time is travelling through USA as once it gets to our Heathrow worldwide distribution centre it's usually pretty quick getting to us. The recent cyber attack is slowing down international mail but mostly stuff leaving UK....

    A bit different to our regular northern soul night this will be an evening of the best tamla motown sounds plus well known soulful hits from the 60's and 70's, stuff like chairmen of the board, gladys knight, three degrees and other well known and popular soul records.Still all on lovely vinyl & still only £3 admission price, all welcome.
