  1. As the topic asks, which recording came first...the Crystals (UA) or the Toys (Dynovoice)? Also, did the Toys version appear on a US 7"?
  2. There are also originals without the Mike Terry credit...and personally I think they are rarer than the ones with his name on 'em.
  3. I have a Vontastics in near mint condition for £40, if that is of use...superb double-sider >>> Vontastics - LOOK HERE <<<
  4. Does this one count being on a 78rpm...not traditional Northern, but seems to be indemand by the scene...and rare
  5. ...and if anyone else wants a copy, I also have a nice one for £30 (+P&P) Sound quality is soooo much better than the Backbeat copies
  6. In true panto fashion...Oh! Yes he does...well kinda...open to trades >>> HERE <<<
  7. Records are packed...stories ready...just hope the weather doesn't cause delays! Will call you over Chrimbo to set up a good day to come and drink your tea and eat your biscuits!

  11. Hi Kev, Nowp, never seen a factory sleeve for any of those labels...amazing when you consider the sizeable hits and advertising possibilities they offer. (I can't make the 100 Club - will be at VaVaVoom with a bunch of discs to deliver for various folk...x2 for Rajan via your goodself if that is OK...and I'll have a few choice pieces for sale too )
  12. There is a factory sleeve for 'Sound' as in for the Capreez. Rare.
  13. Maybe it is the scanner quality? This copy has hardly seen the light of day and has been buried in a non-Soul collection for many, many years...possibly even unplayed until I checked it...just the once mind! Out of interest, which pressing plant is your copy from and is it styrene or vinyl?
  14. Got another copy available 12/12
  15. From the album: Sales at AnoraksCorner.com

    Belting Northern Soul! Mint-
  16. Great track...great CD in fact...highly recommended It is on the wonderful Shout label (SHOUT57)...you should ask Dave for a copy, Ady!
  17. Yep, it is a completely different version, Gene...fabulous Popcorn that will appeal to some NSoul folk too I'm sure. Thankfully no Chipmunks are featured at all! Rare and indemand, so I'm told...no idea on value, mind!
  18. Are you guys after any of the Mirwood/Mira LPs as I do see them around every now and then.
  19. I think I know where I may be able to secure a copy from if anyone is interested...then to come up with a price!
  20. I sold one a couple of years ago for £75...just checked it on Popsike and now need to go and sit down in a darkened room! Didn't realise the demand would push it to $679 with 12 bids! Is that its going rate nowadays?
  21. Same guy who recorded on Vibration?
