  1. Also in Japan, although the insides usually have a brief artist history and the song lyrics on them...ideal for karaoke!
  2. Mike...ask Adey Pierce about this one as I 100% recall he had a green label copy that looked like the bootleg 45...but...the print was different, the press was different as was the flipside track. He sold it a loooooong time ago, but should remember, mind!
  3. Found this mixed bunch yesterday...all in fabulous condition...and for sale: Georgie Fame - Daylight - Island UK (Indemand!) £50 ON HOLD Brothers of Soul - Dream - Shock (Rarer design) £50 ON HOLD Magicians - Keep your hands off my baby - Villa (West Coast 1st press) £40 Du-ettes - Every beat of my heart - Mar-V-Lus (Rare DJ copy) £40 Jive Fyve - If I had a chance to love you - Decca (Fabulous cross-over!) £50 Tony Ashley - I can't put you down/We must have love - Decca (Grrrreat Deep) £25 P&P = £5 per parcel Loads more discs for sale on my site...all with label scans!
  4. I can't see myself / Left-over love This is the rare WD which features both sides rather than just 'Left-over love' on both sides!
  5. Awesome solid slab o'Soul
  6. Does it have a pic cover?
  7. ...and I can offer up a Japanese Mercury 7" in a pic cover, if anyone fancies it?
  8. Off on a tangent...I wonder who came up with the UK script logo in the first place...who ever it was made their mark on history!
  9. I have access to large 50's/early 60's collection which has a fair few early (non-Soul) Dore releases within it. Let me know which artists/tracks you need help with.
  10. I have one for sale at £15 >>> PICTURE & DETAILS HERE <<< One mess of a stomper...allnighter tune...love it!
  11. SOLD
  12. Nowp, that is on ABC...I also have a nice tidy WD of that one for sale too.
  13. Could be?!?!?!? (You have to be a member to view the Sales section on RareSoulForum.com) Have a look at this then:
  14. From the album: Sales at AnoraksCorner.com

Super rare, super good, one of THE Deep Soul rarities of all time! Open to offers!
  15. Ouch! Had a fair number of messages about the JP Robinson...thanks for eveyones interest and glad to see it is as popular as ever! The next copy I find may well be £380!! (Binsy - as promised >>> One for Binsy - PRESS HERE <<< )
  16. Tis a luverly clean copy...already paid for and already packed ready to fly tomorrow Now, it is almost 2AM over here so I really must go to bed and get some beauty sleep...good night (Binsy...do you need a Willie Johnson on Future Stars...maybe I should offer that one for sale tomorrow )
  17. I've had copies of this and other titles (currently got a Metros RCA with it) containing either a stock or WD copies. Would be surprised if they were match'n'married with the worng colour labels...more likely to be excess stock sent out to re-promote...maybe? Fabulous LP regardless of the colour of the label!!
  18. J.P.Robinson - Our Day Is Here / Keep Me Satisfied - Blue Candle A very nice copy up for grabs...no deletion hole...vinyl is near mint both sides...plays clean without any audible faults at all. The writing on the label is in pencil, so I imagine it may be removed with a little care and attention, should you wish to?! Payment via £UK cheque or bank transfer...no Paypal or trades. Scan of actual disc for sale: SOLD
  19. Which version is this...if it is the one with the beefed up brass the price may make it a bargain for someone?!
  20. Stomper...I had a UK demo once upon a time...bet Pete Smith loves this one!?
  21. There is a also a white/grey promo for the red/orange design release.
  22. The book is long deleted, so you'll have to hunt around...put together by Daniel Delorme and published in France. As Binsy says (Hi Mark!), it is 99% pictures...some in colour, some in black and white...not all Soul...but worth tracking down! By the way, I have this Wilson Pickett 45 on a Japanese Verve copy...v.rare...fab picture sleeve too!
  23. Detroit? Great track never the less...recommended.
  24. E.Williams is the one that gets the plays...solid tune! The Jimmy Williams is also rare...but is a different recording set at a more uptempo pace and with (unfortunately) a weaker vocal....interesting but not in the same league.
  25. Yep...have seen white labels without stating that they were demos, and printed WDs...can't recall a coloured label, mind. Reminds me of my Youth Club days!
