  1. Thanks for posting that Pete...genuinely enjoyed watching it...maybe others may wish to do a similar thing with their DJ box/selection?
  2. Price 'accordingly'...and fortunately sometimes they don't check at all.
  3. Just swapped emails with GuyH...he can't recall these two either.
  4. Tangent of interest...lately it seems the shops over here have ditched JM's book and now refer to Popsike.com when pricing stock.
  5. Johnny Honeycut Arthur Alexander - Keep her Guessing - Dot Big Joe's Ivory Brass Big Frank & Essence Lou Pride Hayes Cotton Johnny Hendley - LARRY DAVIS - KENT The Agents (one of my favs from Keb then Rob Marriott) - DYNAMIC THREE - DEL VAL The Ambassadors (I believe Terry found a heap of these at Global in Manchester) WILLIE HARPER - ALON Eddie Lyons June Jackson on Musette ? Gary Sole (Knight) was also played as 'The Agents', and the Determinations (King) as the Ambassadors, but these were Rushbrooke Casino sounds that spilled over into Stafford...as quite a few other discs did. There are just short of x600 cover up disc details over on my website >>> AnoraksCorner Cover Up List <<<...but 'Carol Anderson' and 'Larry Hale' are still doing my head in!
  6. Local issue before Peacock...pretty rare...and this one is 99.5% MINT!
  7. Moving Parts = Jimmy Seals - Challenge Brooks Brothers = Headliners - Luau Jack Montgomery = Don & Juan - Mala Lee Valentine & Bluesmen - Bunny Sigler - Decca Denita James = Susan Rewis - Columbia Geraldine Jones & Floorshakers - Margie Hendrix - Mercury Carol Anderson and Larry Hale...kicking myself over these two...argh!
  8. Hi Rob, Naturally I'm joking, hence the and the reference to Tim's collecting habit Welcome to Soulsource, the world of irony and all the wonderful emoticons to express the emotions the written word sometimes can't convey
  9. They're sooooo beautiful...I have fallen in lust with them
  10. This was covered by a fair few otheres, including Maximillian (Uballez) on Magic Circle, which got afew scene spins during the 8T's...damn catchy version too! By the way, I've uploaded the unissued alternate vocal and backing track to Darryl Stewart's 'Name It And Claim It in Refosoul. This track has really grown on me over the years!
  11. I used to dream about the Soul Set scan...those were the days when you thought you could never, ever own such discs!
  12. WARNING...blue-eyed Soul alert...WARNING...remove from your shelves immediately...WARNING...offer to Tim Brown asap etc etc
  13. Have a soft spot for both tracks...the thumping LFTFE and the Righteous Bros soundalike LHTW which has its moments! LFTFE has all the right ingredients, but I can understamdn folk not liking the Turkish/Asian bits...though they make it stand out from the rest and make it a memorable tune after a nighter! Play it out more Mr.DJ (the WD pictured is a spare if anyone fancies it?)
  14. Sadly no Japanese 7" release at all However, her Capitol 45 'I'm Lonely For You'/'Closed For The Season' did
