  2. Same here...is there one for 'Secret Agents' as well, anyone ?
  3. Good questions...wish I knew What about the one on Capitol, 'Ain't It Funny What Love Can Do' from the pen of Van McCoy...classy!
  4. A man with impeccable taste...I believe that copy came from me After checking I see I also spun it at the Capitol Soul Club on December 13th 2002
  5. I believe that picturesque description was one of Nick 'Driveller' Brown's creations in Shades of Soul...but it was for the Captions 'Hit It' (90% certain it was anyway!), not the Jades.
  6. Me, calculating and obsessive, with my reputation.... Yes, I find interesting stuff every week, but I put in the ground work and am digging EVERY weekend...have been for 6 years now...love it in a calculating obsessive way...kinda like folk flying over to record conventions in Texas, eh Baz?! I think the language barrier has prevented most from trying their luck over here, not to mention that often record shops are hidden away! However, the discs are here (Soul more than Northern) and have been trapped on this island for a long time...my job is to liberate them for y'all! 'Far East Finds'...I used to do that on RareSoulForum.co.uk, but if you wanna know what I find just check the Sales Section on a regular basis! Back to the Convention thread...were there any big pieces there Baz, or any interesting gossip about who found what lately over there?
  7. Hi Ady, hope you're well squire and hopefully we'll catch up over Chrimbo I recall the inst break was heavily edited...after the first 10 blasts of the sax?
  8. Re-mixed as well, as that version is all over the place!
  9. Volumes on London, anyone?!
  10. Not had this one on a West Coast press before...thumping stomper of a tune
  11. ...and these...x300 titles or so in total, all with label scans
  12. Includes all of these...like for like trades welcome!
  13. Exactly...crazy loco
  14. Now, now the masks are worn over here to prevent the person giving/spreading their germs (true). Mind you, considering the dirt, dust and grime that records can accumilate in their travels maybe the guys did use them in order to prevent the nasty germs attacking them and stop them from vacuuming up all the goodies to bring back to Japan...and then offer them to me for peanuts!
  15. A far inferior take as well, as the Rouser one doesn't feature the sax break...as if it has been simply cut out!
