  1. Resisting the temptation (for now!) to go for the entire family of labels (and genre), here are some Chess Soul releases:
  2. Yep, not an easy one! The flipside, 'The night' is a gorgeous big production mid-tempo mover.
  3. Also 1962 for this one. Also agree that Tony Williams is the best version.
  4. How about a few Faaaar East Find stories...I'm on to it if you want, Mr.D?
  5. It's a great track and in fairness I think will appeal to many a collector who likes a nice low-down shuffling R'n'B sound...love the bassline! All things considered it's gotta be a safe £50/£75 nowadays maybe...what does Tim put on it?
  6. Used to be fairly cheap/available during the 8Ts...£8/£15...have had yellow stock copies and WDs. The TiChauns was always the harder one on the label. Oddly enough it was also the inspiration behind behind calling Delores Ealy on Velvet, 'Fran Oliver - Searching For My Man', as they have a similar vocal approach.
  7. What you willing to pay...mint- copy...no trades. PM me for more details.
  8. No need to be jealous...just go visit my sales pages and buy it for the very reasonable price of £150...bargain for what it is!! >>> PRESS LINK HERE <<<
  9. No problems to report from and to Japan, I'm pleased to say. (Hi Denny...hope you're well)
  10. Are there any more styrene test presses (not acetates) for any of the numbers apart from the Manhattens?
  11. I'll let this run for a week...nothing has tempted me thus far, so still available. If nothing takes my fancy it'll go quite happily back on the shelves. I can assure you I do not have quantity on this one!
  12. Although the BBC vaults don't contain it. I thought there was a video archive up for sale the other year which included the Chosen Few TOTP performance? There was also a thread not too long ago that confirmed there was some private Casino footage owned by someone in Worcester?
  13. Many more I can assure you...here's a couple of EP promos...both on red vinyl...mmmm!

  15. Thanks to all who have traded thus far...here are some more pics...
  16. True...the Red Boy variant is the earlier more Doo-Wop approach (yet still NS!), whilst the Sandbag take has a fuller production/more instrumentation...and was the one GuyH used to spin. Great track, whichever label.
  17. And representing the Far East I present a couple from the shelves:
  18. Indemand to say the least! Have a mint- copy up for trades. Will only consider one-for-one trades...60s Northern only @£400.
  19. Can't recall...is that the Greek copy you have of it?
  20. That reminds me, I have a rather nice late 6Ts mid-tempo track by RockyR on a Dick Charles acetate...probbaly recorded in NYC just before he left for Europe. Must dig it out for RefoSoul.
  21. Got a beautiful M- copy in it's factory sleeve..£75 inc. P&P.
