  1. Nor me, just stumbled across it whilst searching for details on Harold Burrage's funeral!
  2. Didn't realise the wonderful book, 'Chicago Soul' by Robert Pruter is available free to read online Check it out if you've already...great stuff! https://books.google.co.jp/books?id=2kkcmS0AzMEC&pg=PA219&lpg=PA219&dq=harold+burrage+funeral&source=bl&ots=5izMyRF_Cj&sig=AnkFYymTJEwE58HlleuuRF9i1CA&hl=en&ei=WWI5TuHcH4yOmQX2yJy8Bw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=4&ved=0CCsQ6AEwAw#v=onepage&q=harold%20burrage%20funeral&f=false
  3. Great tune...a real grower with cross-over appeal curently under the radar to many folk? Apparently, the white label copies are actually the stock copy to the purple label double-sided demo. The white label copies also feature a great version of, 'You're No Good'. I have a spare WD for £75 on my site at present: https://www.anorakscorner.com/SalesPage7.html
  4. You'll soon be moving onto M-Pac and One-Derful, if you haven't already Anyone got a scan of the promotional playing cards with these labels on...remember Soul Bowl had them many moons ago
  5. Love both designs...the 'explosion' and the 'twin flags': (The Ultimations and Cicero Blake are spares, if you need them?)
  6. Mint copy on my site for £85 + P&P: https://www.anorakscorner.com/SalesPage6.html Of use?
  7. How about this legendary thumping instruMENTAL by The Chosen Few:
  8. Just found this on my sales shelves...obviously never sent for Here it is again in all it's glory...STOMPING instruMENTAL time in your Tardis!
  9. Tuesday 2nd August Just updated the sales pages over on AnoraksCorner.com x275 45's all with label scans Loadsa quality Classics and Detroit stuff x90 WDs including some rather tough ones! Press here: https://www.anoraksco...SalesPage1.html
  10. An old topic reactivated, but just found this one today...not often spotted on a WD!
  11. Thanks Franc...thought you may prefer the flipside, which is a beauty of a track, I agree. However, I also kinda thought the happy-go-lucky dancer that is EOOL would appeal to others. Yes it has a poppy edge to it (lthough Hermans Hermits is a little harsh ), but you gotta love that Detroit guitar work! I think I'd be happy with £75 if anyone fancies my spare.
  12. Found a spanking mint copy of their. 'I Love You' last weekend, which prompted me to think if there is a discogrpahy and family tree for this group out there? Love the (much used) backing track on this stormer too!
  13. Anyone wanna estimate a value for an. 'End of our love', then...not seen another for a while and it's such a good (Detroit!) track...fabulous drum work! Take a bow, boys!
  14. I'm lucky in that I find a lot of ex-warehouse condition discs over here, more often than not still in their original brown/white/factory paper sleeves. Now, sometimes these sleeves may be badly creased up, have some writing or a price tag on them...not the kind to potentially file away a disc in, if one was fussy about it. However, I can't bring myself to change the tired sleeves for fresh ones, as the disc and sleeve have been together so long and there is a very high percebntage that it is the original paper sleeve! It seems somehow wrong to separate them!? Am I the only way who just can't change a sleeve over in these such cases!?! Thank you for listening...discuss!
