  1. It's rubbish...you'd hate it...if you see one buy it and just send it me ...you'd like it tough not as raw as their Poncello goodie which the Soulsalmon seeks! Payment...I believe it did, let me just go and check...back again, yes it did
  2. Sure...2/3 of it attached. It is a totally different take to the (slower) one featured on his album of unissued material. It was destined for Elvis apparently...and I could imagine him doing it too...albeit probably not in a manic stomper fashion that this demo is set at. A belter of a stomper. 3. Sure you won't mind me riding in on this thread as I'm after the Jades too...but their one on Mode! Anyone help us Jades fanatics?
  4. Nice record cover don'tcha think...don't see many of those around, eh?!
  5. Both highly recmmended. Chicago Soul cross-over brilliance (both sides) and Detroit Soul at it's VERY best...sounds a milion quid! Ver' ver' cheap...imo.
  6. Well, it is 01:45 over here in Japan, so I'm emailing you from the future...the 1st June! I've just updated and uploaded the fresh sales pages over on Anorak's Corner. You'll also find a load of label scans within the sales pages too! >>> CLICK HERE TO VISIT THE SALES PAGES <<<
  7. Classic clip...nice one For reference, the noise one can hear when Ron (RIP) is cutting the lacquer/acetate is actually a vacuum sucking the disc to the turntable, so it doesn't slip when it is cutting. He also looks at the grooves being cut via a magnifying glass, in order to check the depth and distance between the concentric groove. The guy who used to cut my acetates used to love looking at the grooves of vintage acetates to see what measurements they were using...what an anorak!
  8. 土曜の夜何かが感きる...stomper! OK, how about this one:
  9. Nice use of the mixer, sir! Mayuzumi Jun...domo!
  10. ...and you're playing Patches on Phax...TUNE!
  11. Will do. Re- the soundfile...I will PM you details...it may blow your mind!
  12. Some of the best ever Here are the two CSC button-sized pin on badges:
  13. ...and let us not forget the SUPERB chunk of cross-overness from the Imperial Wonders! Dare I suggest that this is the strongest release out of the x3?
  14. I saw a plain blue stocker the other week...I'll revisit the store this weekend for you, if you wish? The price would be circa £40...I know, I know I'm too cheap at times! Nice tuneage, Tone. (-ps did Timperley forward you that soundfile I sent him yesterday?)
  15. I really rate and am more than happy to champion, 'You got it'. Great vocals, arrangement and production...plus it's on a gold coloured label! Was indeed around in quantity for years, but with a few choice spins this could really take off...it 'sounds' like a £1000 rarity...imo. Proper Northern and I applaud any DJ spinning this one.
  16. Must check out the old csc links...here's a direct link, so get your bib ready >>> Click Here <<< Enjoy!
  17. I've had plain blue label stock copies...and this rather odd looking one too:
  18. Really like their take on JJ.Barnes', 'Poor unfortunate me'...solid Detroit stomper!
  19. Have had both two label variants: 1. Orange 2. Light-cream
  20. Have a nice copy of this top-class-classic slab of cross-over Soul up for sale. The vinyl is almost mint....9.5 out of 10 and it plays totally and utterly mint. The A side label has some H20 damage to it...see the scan below. Go search out a soundbite and give it a listen again...superb vocals, harmonies, arrangement...timeless! I'm looking for £*** (inc. courier service delivery to your doorstep)...or a mighty close offer!
  21. I've also had Canadian copies of that LP. Any others?
  22. This reminds me that I have a Capitol Soul Club badge with metal embroidery! Many moons ago I received an unsolicited email from a company in India asking if the CSC would be interested in this style of badge...they specialised in Military blazer badges utilising various metal threads. They even offered to make a demo one for free...well who was I to say no?! Sorry I haven't got a scan and it is deep in storeage, but I can assure you it does exist as a one-off demo...very thick/heavy material in black with gold and silver metal thread depicting the classic CSC logo. My original Casino ones, plus a list of their official ones, is on my site...as previously posted above: https://capitolsoulclub.homestead.com/badges.html
