  1. The scan via the link is not a Japanese press, but it is bonafide. The chances are it is actually Taiwanese (Chinese writing), as I've got/had others just like that too. In fact, most of the Soul output from those terrotories at that point was on red/orange vinyl.
  2. Never heard of it existing, but if it does you can rest assured I'd track it down! I have found two US copies over here, mind The one on my site is now SOLD
  3. Hi Pete, One on my site for £75. Condition of vinyl/sleeve/labels is fine. >>> LP Sale <<< A fair price methinks
  4. No wah-wahs, but this may hit the spot: Explosive Dynamiks - Whole lotta loving - Lemco
  5. The first copy offerred I'm aware of was via 'Discoveries' magazine in the early 90's. It was indeed cracked and went to the very same French gentlemen. Pretty typical dreamy-poppy-Motown-mid-tempo with a fine pedigree, but if it wasn't rare it wouldn't fall into Motown collector's Top 50 lists...imo.
  6. Same here...and what a great powerhouse rumbler of a track it is too! Shame about her vocal being down in the mix, mind!
  7. Yes, they often issued them in batches, which of course in turn creates problems with the finate dating of release versus recording dates. Let us also not forget that Columbia could provide a mastering service as well as pressing 'em up, so different deadwax markings are easily possible!
  8. So, what price on this one now?
  9. Ahem...
  10. A typical fault with many Soul compilations, when the person putting them together doesn't know the genre. However, in this case, yes it is a surprise.
  11. Better make that four. The above one is also around with an obvious misspelling of the label name...can't recall but think it states, 'Zoiac' instead of 'Zodiac'.
  12. Mmmm...nice.
  13. I recall it as 'Gwen Owens & the Vel-Girls' (Velgos?) The bass always used to distort as he hammered it up to the red!
  14. ...and here's a nice WD label variant on Keyman:
  15. Never been that tough to find on a WD...stock copy anyone? The flipside is vastly superior...awesome mid-tempo beat-ballad...imo. Agree with Pete circa £125.
  16. Ths flipside is great too.
  17. Watch out for her unissued GWP stuff which will (hopefully) appear on a future Kent CD...awesome...and miles better than her Kapp 45 for sure.
  18. Fortnum has/had the vg copy from Eddie Holman.
  19. I haven't got my set to hand, but wasn't their a partial list within the Malaco CD box set? >>> CLICK HERE <<<
  20. Without the credit copy below. Agree that this is quite possibly the rarer, contrary to some guide valuations.
  21. Love this early number...a great double-sider.
  22. I've just sold one for £20. Also sold an original of SSLPTM for £60 not too long ago...mint stock copy. Still have a clutch of various D.Town and Premium Stuff discs by him for sale on my site. A great artist.
  23. Yep, I've got it.
  24. No mate, my copy came from elsewhere. By the way, this thread has reminded me that I picked up another disc on the label that was new to me...quite a good 'Greater Experience' style dancer...I may even treat the Tokyo collectors to it this weekend at our little get together! I'm sure they'd love it...if I played it at -6 and turned it into a Deep Soul track!
