  1. Lookalike with Angela Davies on the flip. I have an original Gloria Walker for £40 if anyone fancies it...luverly condition...fab'n'funky Soul! (Also got a copy of their, ''Need of you' also on Flaming Arrow for £15...another nice tune!)
  2. There may be a WD of this one too, going by demos on the label around the time of that release number. My eyes are peeled for you.
  3. I've seen a scan of one...white label with the bell design and blue print. Never seen it in the flesh, so to speak. IF it is genuine then it is rare...very rare.
  4. For reference...their other tune on Topaz, 'Sweet Soul Lady' is also well worth checking out. Not as obviously funky as T-1319, it is more Northern...powerful with great organ and brasswork...quite sinister sounding almost like a slowed down Deadbeats (Strata).
  5. Riding in on this one, if that is cool: Here is a nice pair of matching Tri-Sounds. Available as a pair for £100 (+P&P...both not a million miles away from being mint...ex store stock). TOP TUNEAGE!
  6. Speaking of 'Love can't be modernized'...I kinda like Jimy Graham's version on Revue (a label worthy of its own thread)...a Sir Graham production under the baton of James Carmichael too...anyone else?
  7. Sadly, no. I haven't been able to track down any definitive label listings for J-releases at all, so I'm piecing them together myself! Fun, frustrating and seemingly endless..LOVE IT!
  8. Not to my knowledge, squire...if I learn to the contrary you'll be first to hear about it!
  9. I've not seen an orange one...scan anyone, please? How anyone could slag this powerhouse never-say-die, thumping-mess of an R'n'B classic is beyond me, so to speak! Love it!
  10. Lars, Are you collecting Japanese releases on these labels? There's quite a few Invictus and a few Hot Wax too. PM me if you want more details. Flynny
  11. JoeS and Brothers now sold. Chuck Jackson is still available.
  12. If anyone needs one, I have a mint-ish plumb label copy up for grabs on my site...£40. Belting R'n'B!
  13. Original Japanese releases! Ver' ver' nice looking, don'cha think?! Chuck Jackson - I only get this feeling - £25 Joe Simon - No sad songs - £25 Brothers - Are you ready for this - £30 Amaze your fellow collectors when you whip these little beauties out...additional bragging rights come free with each 45! Flynny
  14. For all you collectors out there, who prefer the 'small hole' variations, check these out: Vandellas - Show me the way - £50 Marvin Gaye - I heard it through the grapevine - £25 Supremes - EP - £25 Temptations - EP - £25 Motown R'n'B - EP - £20 Motown Best 4 - EP - £20 Vel Vets - Let the fool kiss you EP - £50 Carolyn Franklin - Boxer - £30 These are rare original Japanese releases...look great framed up on the wall...and are worth extra chin-strokes when shown to fellow collectors! PM if you are interested in knowing more about their condition etc Flynny
  15. 'Your love' is indeed the flip to 'GTGTJJ'...great tracks...Saus used to spin GTGTJJ. There is also a French EP with a pic cover she may appreciate seeing too...anyone got one?
  16. This guy sells discs on behalf of several collectors. Oddly enough the three discs you mention turn up fairly regularly over here...I missed a RSJ for £150 the other month!
  17. I have a rather nice demo for sale (£100)...also got their 'I didn't try' too (£225). Superb Soul tracks, all sides!
  18. Hope you're well, Russ Only ever had a WD of Pearlean Gray...never seen/heard of demos for their two Green Sea 45's (apart from the Atco variation before you mention that one!). Now, someone go buy that Fred Paris from Paul!
  19. So good, both sides...'I can really satisfy' sounds like a £1000 sound! Anyone ever had/seen a demo copy?
  20. The original, and best, version! A luverly WD copy pretty much 9 out of 10 styrene/labels. In the current JM guide at £100...yours for £30 + P&P!
  21. A right thumper of a tune...quality hard-driving Chicago R'n'B! Vinyl is not far off being mint...a luverly copy! £55 inc. courier service P&P.
  22. A luverly ever-green atmospheric stomping Oldie! Rarer WD vinyl copy. Vinyl has a few very minor marks, but plays thorugh luverly with no problems. £50 inc. courier service P&P.
  23. The rarer #0022 first issue. (The green and white label ones are #0026.) Vinyl is pretty much 9 out of 10...labels are free of sticker'n'writing. A nice solid slab of West Coast R'n'B/Northern...£200 in the current JM guide...yours for £125 inc. courier service P&P.
