  1. It is OK, I s'pose.
  2. The two track orange covered one outta Italy or is it Spanish - haven't got it to hand. Those two tracks are also on a 4 track EP with Dave Dee, B,M and T and one other artist...think that one is Spanish or French or Italian as well...sorry quite late over here and apathy has set in!
  3. I am happy to move on my copy for £50...pretty much 9 out of 10 vinyl, labels and sleeve.
  4. Yep, a West Coast press by Monarch, with a delta number indicating September/October 1969.
  5. Hi Darryl, and thanks for the clarification over 'which came first' Out of interest, what was your (and Wand's) reaction when the mis-spelt label copies arrived...you must have been upset/annoyed?!
  6. Maybe your copy is a West Coast press?
  7. ...and here it is:
  8. Already sold, gents.
  9. Got a luverly clean WD for sale on my site...£200. >>> LOOK HERE <<<
  10. I would just like to add that is defo not a Japanese press...I have that variant on a rather fetching WD in a splendid picture sleeve! I'm not being much help, am I?!
  11. What's in the deadwax on your copy, Kev?
  12. Classic
  13. As I recall I used to like taping it next to Nat Wright's 'Run Sonny run' on Petal, with its similar feel...another disc due more attention imo.
  14. UP153 Debbie Taylor - Don't Mess With My Baby / Stop UP159 Hesitations - Yes I'm Ready / That's no way to treat a girl UP193 Persians - Detour / I Can't Make It Anymore ...and an Al Hirt 45 that is currently 'filed' in my lock up rather than on the shelves...can dig it out if you wish? All are on luverly green GWP labels and have fab pic sleeves with song lyrics...ideal for karaoke! Acetates...I think you put them Next to the Jesse Davis CDR
  15. Don't forget that there are two variants for this one folks...different mixes! Mossy, you're first in line should I turn up another R.Rand!
  16. A cracking tune for sure...will appeal to folk liking their uptempo dance tracks to have a slight Latin flavour to 'em! Back in the 80's I used to put this on tapes as 'Sammy Ambrose' or was it 'David Coleman'...you get the picture! Anyhow, this is the same Dean Jones who appeared in Disney movies...played the lead in the Herbie movies...after the car itself, of course! He also had an album on Valiant with the flipside being the album title...can't recall if 'Women' is on the album, sorry. Love it...worth £80 for sure imo...loadsa potential!
  17. Middle Of the Road...a Music Industr term...on the verge being Easy Listening...not leaning towards a specific genre...safe!
  18. Oh! Lordy, I suddenly feel old!
  19. There were a few vinyl albums in the mid-80's released on Charly and licensed direct from Major Bill Smith. Agree that a CD or two (or three!) would be an interesting project, as like Ian says there are so many alternate takes of this and that..a discographers nightmare! Here's a scan of rather nice 1st issue of the Sons of Moses classic stomping piano-driven instrumental...awesome played loud:
  20. Also worth noting that, 'Wait', used to feature on the tape-swappers circuit back in the mid-80's, when big midetempo tracks were in favour.
  21. I defo flogged two copies last year...maybe one per year for a few years prior to that too come to think of it (have notes of selling copies in 2005 and 2007 for sure) I think Prophonics had one for sale on here within the last six months...may still have it...worth PM'ing him A pretty enough tune that's maybe not well known to the masses as it isn't 4x4 Northern...but certainly well known to any collector worth their salt imo Here's a few scans from my sales pages...plus a Romey Rand
  22. Kinda agree with Tony...certainly not a £500 disc. The last two copies I had for sale took a long time to move...very little interest... eventually went for £150 and £125. There's a bunch of Lee Rogers on my sales pages at the moment...with their varying design labels. And let us not forget the Devotional series.
  23. Four 45's were issued on GWP in Japan...sadly one of them was Al Hirt. Oh! The joys of label collecting!
  24. Did I tell you I also have her singing this one in Japanese!?! (There is a clip on Youtube somewhere.)
