  7. going back to the LP baby i got it is on a valise 45 but i dont know if its a differant take from the 45 also listen to side 2 track 2 nobody loves like you baby absolutly blinding record every bit as good as the two 45's best Dave
  8. johnny dunn books at £150 and is certainly worth that on rarity and quality but watch out for the boots on vinyl with a photocopy label. orig should be on styrene with a stick on label with a bell sound stamp. orig gold dave mitchell would be around £70 and £300 on the p.s label dave pinches
  9. sellotape type marks come off with white spirit. then wash it with water and fairy liquid. water based marks come off with ........................ water dave

Wasnt jimmy ruffin lead vocal with the four hollidays on markie on the 2 45s fron 1964. the golden world set up featured edwin starr on i`ll love you forever in 1966 and on groove city it was j.j barnes and steve mancha. Dont think the markie 45s are connected with the others except for the fact the`re detroit items dave
  13. this is the original doo wop version from 1957. made number 88 on the pop charts in september of that year so it seems to have sold quite well. Wouldnt have thought it it be more than a tenner but yer never know dave
  14. sold a mint black issue at prestwich last nite for £50. the first time i took it out. Books at £75 in jm,s new guide. Cant be more up to date than that eh dave
  15. when they reissued it in 1999 really they should have only been £20 as there were enuff copies to go around but maybe £50 dosent seem too dear by todays standards. last i heard about the original acetate. Nige mayfield had it. Dont know if he still has it tho dave
  16. just off topic a bit. the sonny and dianne 45 love trap credits S fishback & D carter so perhaps it could be dianne carter........... whoever she is great vocals tho and a very rare record IMVHO. only on epic issue dave

  23. seeing how dawn was a u.s top 5 record.in 1964. I would say this was the first version and anything else was borrowed.......... if yer see worrameen dave
  24. So. just to recap then. this record is worth between £200 and £1000 basically nobody has a clue . good record, a bit too fast for today tho` dave
  25. used to see it in the 80s and 90s from time to time sometimes with reversed labels for as much as £200. Saw one recently for £600. I aint heard it out and about in years top tune tho` dave
