  5. all the demo`s ive seen are the mf 1122 original from 1969 and all have had middles cut out. but there are original issues with full centers.it was reissued in 1971 on a 7 digit number with and without centers but i personally have never seen a reissue demo. this reissue was on catalogue for a few years with the early copies on paper labels and then on ink labels dave

  10. im sure it was done at the same time as the grapevine copies and used for promotion. that said its much harder to locate on satiron these days. i sold mine for £30 about 5 years ago and wish i hadent. its probably double that now. also on the flip you get the vocal to like a rolling stone( not the dylan song thank god) which i thinks also great and not on the grapevine copy dave
  11. have you looked on gemm or usa ebay. i would have thought there`d be a copy on there dave

  14. thanks for that sebastian. i was always hopeless at writing letters. thats pretty much what i wanted to say theres always a difference. down to the type of vinyl, type of paper, the markings and thats just on the not so obvious reissues dave
  15. so then.when were they done. bearing in mind al mason has been brought into the equasion. thats 20 years old. legally done and you never see it. nobody else noticed them b4 and mostly what are the differences because theres not been a 100% perfect boot done yet dave

  19. viola wills should be cheap as chips. i bought the 7 and 12in as new releases on streetwave in early 1986 dave
  20. hip to your ways has always been a rare stock copy with the instrumental on the flip but if you shop around you might be able to pick up a demo for around 40 ukp. you`d be pushed to get im not ready for less than 300 even on ebay. didnt jm get over 600 in auction for it a couple of years ago . both top tunes which ever way you look at it dave
  21. and it 45s like this that make the gerri hall hotline record on another thread sound really mediocre dave
