  1. i came 2nd on the jessie james and lost to a snipe ( grrrrr) in the last seconds. i never have any money to spend and i thought that was the copy for me as i could never afford a grand for a minter but for once im a bit flusher than usual lol. folks should remember that not all soulies are millionaires in fact most of us are far from it. I nearly swopped my fascinators on bombay for a mint jessie once but was talked out of it. but having looked at that JJ the other nite and listened to the soundclip i thought i would bid what i thought it was worth and i only just missed it dave
  2. thats true that stefan. theres only two on popsike @ £3/400. a uk dealer, maybe soulbowl must have found a batch in the 70/80/s. to be honest id never heard of it until kev roberts played it on stuart maconie all singing all dancing whenever that was and was faced with a couple of copies cheap in the 12 month period after thinking i will get round to picking one up but at that time i never did. then manny auctioned one and then................................... dave
  3. think the french one is blue and the jap one maroon. £300 is a fair price on it. ive missed it on ebay a couple of times at £250ish and one cheap at leeds record fair (grrrrrrrr) have to see what happens with johns i guess dave

  12. there are a few different variations of abc/abc paramount but lovers of northern of northern have a couple or 3 to go at and also the same amount for modern /70s lovers but non look like that. my main point is if you spend good money on vinyl you go out of your way to find out what the original looks like dave
