  2. i think it was flip side on 2 occasions probably put there to cut costs . is there proof from local miami charts to suggest it sold well. i thought the coupling mentioned above was the 2nd coupling anyway. i know its not mega rare but................. mind you its only on cat so theres every chance that a box full of any of the releases could turn up dave (owner of a common purple mundi 45)

  7. some call it rhythm & blues. to others it was rock & roll. we ought to have a poll as in the sammy davis thing dave
  8. when we were all kids tho. music was something you could embrace and feel. it was like drinking a fine wine. today its like eating a mcdonalds and all that fast food rubbish along with the souless, automated voice, robot society that we live in. forward thinking in ur music policy but cling on to ur past with your values thats what i say dave on the soap box
  9. ah.. didnt see that. i shuda gone to specsavers dave
  10. northern/rare soul wise i say the sandi sheldon big 45 youre gonna make me love you issue is probably the rarest. theres quite a few tough issues. johnny robinson, ken williams etc. but demo wise , no rare ones at all as they are all accessible if you got the coin. as has been said some of the early blues and even `band` thingsfrom the 30`s-50`s are rarer than the northern. we have some cab calloway things kickin around. not sure how rare they are but there or8. dave
  11. i`d have said £500 but it seems that things like celest hardie go for that these days. celest is a far better tune tho imo.if u been offered £750 id take it dave

  17. it came out in 1983 as the follow up to i am somebody with every body loves a winner on the flip this times at 3.50 odd. it then came out in 1987 as the flip of together by his missus genobia jeter. this times at 4.50.odd copies of this come in a nice picture sleeve. im in the same boat as i cant check catalogue numbers as my vinyl is stored elsewhere dave
  18. all with sound files from the 45`s https://shop.ebay.co.uk/DECOTWIN/m.html?_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1 cheers for looking dave
  19. it is lou stanley selling it as well and he has a decent reputation.but as far as i`m concerned a crack is where you can `part` the vinyl. surely a vinyl fault as in a lot of styrene 45`s cannot be misconstrude as a crack dave
  20. its a good price that for a copy that ticks and pops all the way thru and jumps once. buy perhaps im being a little hard on it. i thought it was a £300 record but ive just looked at popsike and it looks like im out by£150/200 a great record tho and not one i ever tire of dave
  21. https://cgi.ebay.com/...T#ht_2032wt_960 seems to be going a little crazy this one dave
  22. i did come a cropper. sent funds to craig moerer last night for a 45 i bought off gemm. i had to pay a small fee of 20 odd cents for a £20 record. it was one i was after tho not in any of the books and not on ebay so i`m not too fussed. dave
  23. delegation, circa 1976/77 were also of similar ilk to the real thing/ realistics at that time. ken gold micky deane productions. both delegation and realistics recorded someone oughta write a song (uk state /uk epic.) they must have had the same manager as well. dave
  24. highlight it, right click, copy, right click paste, bro....................................i think
  25. can u not make pound sterling your choice of payment tho.im sure it gives you the option ....... just a thought. since i discoverered the gift option ive sent a lot of paypal payments and never encounted a problem. might be something to do with having funds in paypal account and being linked to a verified bank account. not 100% certain tho. ive got to make a payment tonight in usa dollars........lets see if i come a cropper dave
