  11. deffo usa copies.they were just using a batch of old labels. chalfontes `he loves me` herman griffin `dream girl` are on black as well. all very rare tho
  12. this again is true. about 90% of these so called rare soul45`s are overpriced IMO. nobdy can fault anybody for maximizing the potential of records but if something struggles to sell surely the price should come down. a lot of sellers out there carrying records with big price tags on em that maybe shouldn`t have dave
  13. very suprised you havn`t sold this yet nev dave
  14. BUT THE THING IS CHALKS. THERES PROBABLY STILL LESS COPIES IN THE UK THAN SAY FRANK BEVERLY ON SASSY OR FOUR PERFECTIONS ON PARTY TIME AND LOADS OF OTHER 45`S I COULD MENTION. PEOPLE PAY THEIR MONEY AND MAKES THEIR CHOICES I SUPPOSE. I WAS FORTUNATE WITH THIS 45 BUT I WOULDNT PAY WHAT ITS STILL GOING FOR KNOWING THE HISTORY WITH IT. I HOPE THEY DO DRY UP SOON COS I HATE TO SEE GOOD RECORDS CRUCIFIED. DAVE

  20. YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN IVOR. THERE ARE LOTS OF RECORDS THAT TURN UP MUCH MORE NOW WITH EBAY IN OUR GRASP. AND THERE ARE A LOT OF 45`S THAT STILL GO FOR A STACK OF MONEY, CASHMERES LENNY CURTIS, FOUR TRACKS JUST BEING EXAMPLES BUT BOY DO THEY KEEP GOOD PRICES. IMAGINE WHAT PRICES IF EBAY HADN`T BEEN INVENTED I MEAN REALLY YEARS AGO £15 GOT YOU A LOW PRICE DANCER BUT IN 2010 £150 GETS YOU BUGGER ALL. IF YOU MISSEM ONE WEEK YOULL GET EM THE NEXT.

  23. this could certainly be true joe. when i wrote my initial post i put 100 count then changed it to 70. certainly in the first couple of weeks after he surfaced with them with the first copies a handful of people got second chance offers. i myself were party to a 10 count that came over the first week he put them on with a couple of friends of mine but after the first couple of weeks he got greedy and just auctioned one every other week on ebay. the copy that he just sold ended up going for nearly $600 today dave
  24. HE SOLD 70 OR SO COPIES IN 2008 THEN LAST YEAR NEVER SOLD ANY AT ALL UP UNTIL CHRISTMAS. SINCE THEN HE`S LET S DOZEN OR SO MORE OUT. HE MUST HAVE FOUND ALL THE OLD STORE STOCK IN ONE HIT BECAUSE UNLIKE SOME DETROIT GOODIES IT NEVER SOLD OR GOT DISTRIBUTED AT ALL UPON RELEASE DAVE
