i had a yellow one up until recently and to be honest its one of those 45s that i kept for years to pull it out of the sleeve, play it , say to myself, you know something dave its crap that. then pop it in its sleeve and file it. this happened untill recently but instead of filing it, i found myself putting it on ebay................................ it made £7.......... oh the joy lol. perhaps if the label had been blue it might have made me £70. the moral of my story tho is its a crap record whatever label colour. dave on leave from the horse and groom 20th june doncaster

how i usually date the mgm stuff john. look at the catalogue number on the above item and just below it theres another number. this is the main number for all mgm/verve and related label releases . get your chart books out and you can pretty much pinpoint release dates from that if you havent got a date stamp on the 45:thumbsup: i make it sept/oct 1966 spyders is jan 1967 dave

turbo orig is a fortune and has poor sound sound quality. crammed with good tunes tho dave

manny`s guide is for mint copies but weather is worth £4 or £40, the sound is £1000 all day dave

richie havens came out on a 45 in the usa 4 months b4 spyders version as well. i love both versions too dave

bought both a way of life and arthur miles on 7 and 12 when they came out 20 years ago. i like AWOL the best. both version are better than staples singers IMVHO altho while that is a soul record its very dull and i love my modern and crossover tunage dave

debbie taylor uk copy has the instrumental bit in the middle with the ` ooo loving you just dont pay` line repeated over and over chopped out making it a minute shorter than the usa copy
