  5. chillout room, playing lesser played 60`s, 60`s beat ballads, crossover, 70`s and 80`s uptempo and midtempo items with a smattering of black box, gabin, sean oliver type 2k................................................ i think that about covers it lol dave
  6. RECSIM....................... BEEN ON GEMM 10 YEARS AND IF THEY HAVE EVER SOLD A RECORD I WILL STAND THE DROP OF YORK DAVE
  7. I WAS CONFUSED AT THE OFFSET STEVE. I THINK NOW THOUGH ITS ABOUT SOULFUL HOUSE AND GARAGE TYPE OF 2K/MODERN SOUL RATHER THAN THE OLD AL MASONS, NICKY NEWARKERS, 70`S TYPE WHICH AT THE END OF THE DAY IS NOW NORTHERN SOUL. THE REASON I DONT DO MANY ALLNIGTERS ANY MORE IS BECAUSE I GOT SICK OF THE LACK OF VARIATION. ALL YOU SEEMED TO HEAR WAS 60`S AND ALL AT THE ONE TEMPO. WOULD BE NICE IF THE ALTERNATIVE ROOM WAS A CHILLOUT ROOM WERE ANYTHING GOES AS BOTH THE OLD R N B AND HOUSEY GARAGE ARE A BRIDGE TOO FAR FOR ME DAVE
  8. my mate bob beasley gave one to me for my son to play with which he duly did. till a couple of years ago i found it in a box in the lobby. still in one piece and played ok so i flogged it for a tenner. it sold first time out in the box. got a shock when ive seen it on ebay goin for decent money. dave
  9. cheap as well was it not sean. from the early days of ebay? dave
  10. i think he means the pink breakthrough copy from 1977 which is a different take. it is legit and was put out by california gold ( worlds funkiest band etc).it appears to be in demand itself and has sold on ebay £75+ half a dozen times.people will make do with it because i think they realise a 60`s orange copy might not come their way dave
  11. finishing shortly dave:hatsoff2:
  12. i had that. bought it from swish. got rid of it tho
  13. USED TO BE CHEAP AS CHIPS IN THE 90`S BUT THEN DISSAPEARED.IT NOW SEEMS TO GATHERING A BIT OF MOMENTUM. £75 IMO BUT THEN AGAIN...................
  14. yes the pink label styrene and also a yellow label vinyl boot from the 70`s or maybe early 80`s dave
  15. i think if dave rimmer and ted massey have had one of each side by side i would take it as fact. it will all come out in the wash. it wouldnt surpries me if in the coming months these represses start trickling over. time will tell dave
  16. JM BOOKS IT AT £75 ON TOMAHAWK. ITS GOTTA BE WORTH THAT ON RARITY IMO DAVE
  17. the truth copy was also issued in 1975 (sept) and for some reason if you dont cheat on me was A side and how can i be a witness B side. atlantic flipped it over when they reissued it in 1976 dave
  18. items finishing over the weekend
  19. thats probably where ive seen it. i have a copy of fourth day in about the same shape as the one on ebay maybe a bit better and if someone came to me with £150 i`d be tempted to sell. i think its the commonist of all the tunes with that backing track and certainly should be the cheapest imvho dave
  20. gold of my life all over again isnt it. what is it about these people that makes them think that if they own the recording and put it out in the 60`s. they can do it again in 2010 and still charge top price. deluded or what. i thought it was common knowledge that paul kyser never had any copies of BS when they found him some years ago or was it just the one in not very good nick:g: dave
  21. steady on now rock and roll man:ph34r: dave
  22. great record that windy city 45. nice funky 70`s with crossover flip
