  1. they are lovely fellows but all steve and lees prices would make interesting topics. theres a temps 12in for sale @£40. which is about right imo. the 7 should be £75 tops dave
  2. i think only the 63/ early 64 releases were yellow tho buddy, nolan chance was late 65. like i say.........just a tad odd dave
  3. i always thought that was dodgy as well............................ its certainly a reissue lol. going back to that yellow constellation. the typeface dont look right. first time i saw that was when it was posted up on here..............................just a bit of fun i think, as for that bunky dave
  4. keep it live tmg 1279 ..........................i think it was cancelled in the uk.. test pressing maybe dave
  5. john manship auctioned an annette poindexter a few years ago. i think it went for around £500. john might come on and tell deffo price but he definately had it. i think i first heard it on a `pitches` tape around 94 so maybe sean hampsey or tats had a copy then. i think derek P had recently purchased it about that time as well for not a lot and i tried to prize it out of him but to no avail. i would still love a copy. ive only seen a handful of white promo`s over the years and no issues so it probably doesn`t exist although i`d love to be corrected dave
  6. RECISM.....dont think they`ve sold a 45 in 10 years on gemm lol dave
  7. certainly right about the release times pete. constellation is late 65 and that bunky label design is late 67. also that yellow one thats chalks posted up. releases on constellation yellow had long ceased when just like the weather came out ........... very odd:g: dave
  8. this one was a steal recently but not sure about the £500. i only have the 12 which i think its quite playable from https://www.popsike.com/Modern-Soul-Temptations-Stay-My-Girl-Motown/260600105091.html dave
  9. so how much is this going for today. the first issue (1003) from 1970 and the worlds funkies band from 1978 are defo the same recording. can anyone put up a clip of the 1972 (1004) release dave
  10. yeh some of the 80`s big haired rock bands were never much good and havent stood the test of time
  11. i agree with that. chart music is usually somebody featuring somebody else.theres a lot of black music in the charts but its rotten.the lyrics and the tunes all sound like nursery rhymes to my ears...........f**kin awful dave
  12. white spirit or turps. this usually fetches things like cellotape off. trickier with tape thats been on 20/30 years tho then wash with warm soapy water dave
  13. i pretty much like soul across the board.but i easily overdose on r n b. i cant listen to much 2010 black music.either. i cant seem to find the soulful element in it. the music production is ok but vocally the bloke seems to say `yo yo ` and the girls just wail.........and i cant abide rap in any description. i d rather listen to rock as far as new musics concerned. i like music, PERIOD.. theres not many artists that i dont like at least 1 tune by. got `muse - resistance lp on this morning but i will be at the washington in sheffield this afternoon for a dose of rare soul:thumbup: oh and i just put the black keys tighten up on my ipod:thumbsup: dave
  14. the original of youre number one is easy to tell from the 70`s press.looks totally different:thumbsup: dave
  15. gwen mccrae did a good version on atlantic ................................ cheaper as well dave
  16. issue is £40/50. demo £50/60 but im sure john will get more in auction after all its a uk demo and they are always very desireable dave
  17. its a great tune i think...................won my copy on ebay for 99p 5 or 6 years ago. i ve also been told it was steve brookstein doing the vocal on this side and it was done by ian levine. the flip side is pants imo. as far as it goes they should be classed as original because the love label from 2002 is all you`ll get it on dave
  18. bowt rite i would say......... dave
  19. put it up at £500 or best offer pete........................ this once sold for £1500 im sure dave:hatsoff2:
  20. think dave flynn had one for sale recently:thumbsup: dave
  21. john phillips has one. that didnt jump as far as i recall. i remember him buying it early 90`s dave
  22. when we say off center............................... it only slightly off. most eyes and ears wont even pick it up dave
  23. SORTED NOW. THANKS FOLKS DAVE:hatsoff2:
  24. there is nothing between the issue and demo really in rarity. popsike shows 12 issues and 9 demo`s. £200 of anyones money IMO. has sold for £300 but there`s been a couple of beaters on ebay for less than a ton. issue copy has lover boy on the flip. demo is mono/stereo in case you didn`t know. as nev said tho prices are up and down............ depends who watchin i spose dave
