  4. its a good bible bashing 2 sider. i think it books higher but £25/30 for a minter about right imo dave
  5. the guy in oregon obviously knows nothing about the uk northern soul scene. it looks as tho what he is trying to say is that because john put the bootleg guide out..... he is responsible for bootlegging the records. also we all know that not just soul 45 `s get played on the northern soul scene we have stuff played by white artists and the guy hasnt got the tools to grab the concept of this. dave
  6. you must have a crystal ball ian ..........its not gonna be number 1 til t`morra lol dave

  11. funny i thought we had a uk demo of this somewhere... it came out in the uk on 45 before it did in the usa. we also had a lovely usa white promo and im not sure what happened to that:g: dave
  12. so it looks like theres more than 2 copies, maybe nearer 32, still not a lot in the scheme of things but still only £50 rather than £500 dave
  13. is that not the 70`s boot? dave
  14. ive just come back from holiday and only just seen this................. choked on my coffee dave
  15. they are lovely fellows but all steve and lees prices would make interesting topics. theres a temps 12in for sale @£40. which is about right imo. the 7 should be £75 tops dave
  16. i think only the 63/ early 64 releases were yellow tho buddy, nolan chance was late 65. like i say.........just a tad odd dave
  17. i always thought that was dodgy as well............................ its certainly a reissue lol. going back to that yellow constellation. the typeface dont look right. first time i saw that was when it was posted up on here..............................just a bit of fun i think, as for that bunky dave
  18. keep it live tmg 1279 ..........................i think it was cancelled in the uk.. test pressing maybe dave
  19. john manship auctioned an annette poindexter a few years ago. i think it went for around £500. john might come on and tell deffo price but he definately had it. i think i first heard it on a `pitches` tape around 94 so maybe sean hampsey or tats had a copy then. i think derek P had recently purchased it about that time as well for not a lot and i tried to prize it out of him but to no avail. i would still love a copy. ive only seen a handful of white promo`s over the years and no issues so it probably doesn`t exist although i`d love to be corrected dave
  20. RECISM.....dont think they`ve sold a 45 in 10 years on gemm lol dave
  21. certainly right about the release times pete. constellation is late 65 and that bunky label design is late 67. also that yellow one thats chalks posted up. releases on constellation yellow had long ceased when just like the weather came out ........... very odd:g: dave
  22. this one was a steal recently but not sure about the £500. i only have the 12 which i think its quite playable from https://www.popsike.com/Modern-Soul-Temptations-Stay-My-Girl-Motown/260600105091.html dave
  23. so how much is this going for today. the first issue (1003) from 1970 and the worlds funkies band from 1978 are defo the same recording. can anyone put up a clip of the 1972 (1004) release dave
  24. yeh some of the 80`s big haired rock bands were never much good and havent stood the test of time
  25. i agree with that. chart music is usually somebody featuring somebody else.theres a lot of black music in the charts but its rotten.the lyrics and the tunes all sound like nursery rhymes to my ears...........f**kin awful dave
