  5. I had it down as jan/feb 69 when i catalogued it. There is another number on the label besides the GS number. This is the main bell/amy/ mala number and they all fall into place. A date stamp demo of the flip would confirm
  6. doesnt sound that bad to my ears and not everybody can pull £800 out of their pocket for a clean copy. most of us have to save and put money in a jar. dont get me wrong if it goes much higher then it would be silly but for some its probably the best they could ever hope for dave

  12. i know what your saying nev. certainly about the radio at work. when you have to endure radio 1 or magic fm , heart, real radio all day. and we have dancin queen , bon fuckin jovi, scissor sisters, kylie all day over and over. this tho makes me appreciate the likes of gnarls and celo green even more and yes gnarls barkley was the name of a band. mind you my wife is off to see biffy clyro soon and she thought that that was their lead vocalists name lol dave
  13. Mine has the intro. To be honest ive not seen or heard it without. I think it was due to come out on uk ensign. But never seen it. The lp came out in a few countries but only seen french 45. Value .... No idea could be a tenner. Could be 50. Dont crop up much tho
  14. Got a uk cbs w/demo of africa if thats any good lol. Seriously tho chicago's 1st 3 lps with the jazz rock influence are not bad at all. Nowt to do with northern or soul but good nontheless
  15. never seen a uk copy. mines french i think dave
  16. i appreciate this is a northern soul site but it must be really difficult for those who only like music thats deemed to be northern soul dave
  17. its only a cheap 45 either way on issue . demo about £25 maybe a fiver more with the reeco credit dave
  18. is there a uk demo. only ever seen a date stamped copy with typical polydor push out black spider circa late 60`s early 70`s. never even seen a 3 or 4 pronged proper center copy dave
  19. thats right on the money steve dave
  20. definately gonna make a wilton comeback in 2011. im ashamed of myself for not going since the refurb after being a regular for many many years. gotta sort myself out dave
  21. well ive had 3 issues all from markets in an around the barnsley area, there must have been plenty of others kickin around who had the same luck as me and bri at the time. demo must be much rarer. a 45 thats never really done it for me. wish i still had one coz i`d sell it lol dave
  22. the backing`s ok i guess in a tempests sort of way. vocally it reminds of the batchelors. if you like the batchelors then this is for you dave
