The Chicano guys on the west coast I think and that’s who I used to sell to initially.. popular everywhere now tho it seems beat ballads were still popular in the uk in the 90s early 2000s before retro northern took its grip.. only a certain few get played in the main rooms now tho.. most are relegated to the side rooms and Sunday do’s.. wouldn’t have it any other way.. beats hearing in orbit 3 times a night
