  1. is this the guy that has that shop in blackpool dave
  2. i agree its not an auction item azza..worth 150 notes tho
  3. same here joe ..the orange styrene copy isnt rare but the red label vinyl copy is much tougher
  4. i wouldnt play it personally..its up to others if they want to. i dont have a problem with that
  5. only about 10 copies of the green 60`s orig on popsike bob....its probably been on a few more times tho and not showing on popike. theres lots of copies of their other 45 on the label and the gold reissue mind but not many originals in the grand scheme of things
  6. the gold one were done about 12 years ago obviously for the northern soul market.. they are not real as in `they were made in the 60`s`
  7. thats my copy in the you tube clip and also the one from popsike. in all honesty its the only stock ive seen in say 15 years and seen maybe a handful of demos.. i know its not worth a kings ransome but rarity wise unless anyboby knows different. the flip previously came out on the oterside of help wanted ( arctic 111)
  8. is this quite rare on original issue in comparison with other the volcanos arctic 45`s.. it seems to be their last on the label and when i see it for sale its the styrene black text 70`s reissue/boots whats your opinions folks dave
  9. is the volcano`s a moulded label with blue text dave
  10. i remember that andy..the gambrells 45 was jive talk..i had a copy of every title from you at the time....happy days dave
  11. might come off with nail varnish remover,,dont get it on the vinyl tho
  12. all the karate copies of tony hestor ive seen have the stamp in the runout...never seen a boot..perhap he got confused with mikki farrow.. incidentally i seen more tony hestors on giant in the last six months than i seen in me life..at least half a dozen gone thru ebay in varying conditions
  13. i did the same ......but then gave the record away to what i thought was a more deserving cause fool that i am
  14. if its on the world wide web its easy enough to do
  15. kim...sell them yourself on here or facebook to get your best price ......but give it 12 months first then see how you feel then..everything will sell for its correct price,,as nev said yes theres packin and post office trips but it always was a labour of love
  16. rarer on palmer tho isnt it..
  17. £15 issue £25 on demo on uk .......just sold a dade copy for £20 dave
  18. trophy.............dont know what it means so i cant tell you if i`m bothered or not ..ok i have the shit hytones. but i also got richard darbyshire
  19. i dont have any trophy records nev.i`ll leave that up to you....and dont pick a fight with me my names dave not derek
  20. hey i appreciate what your saying and gareth is 100% correct and i for one wont be lining john andersons pocket. someone on this thread i`m sure did say about the quality being harder to come by than it used to be as well as the turnover of records. its not gonna get any easier. andy`s podcast is one of the best out there. but the hopkins brothers doesnt stand out.....imperial c`s and hytones just two oldies eh lol even tho weve known them for what seems forever theres still loads that dont know em to this day....put the hytones on the last H & G cd and some were scratching there heads.......i agree dereks second post came across as a bit leery......uneccessary.........now john harris that does float my boat dave
  21. i think the rca copy was issued in 1976
  22. derek has his opinion nev and to a point i`m inclined to agree...HB is yet another decent tighten up soundalike..but i for one wouldnt trade the hytones and imperial c`s for it just to keep up with the joneses
  23. also used to have a nice copy with labels the right way round and a dj copy not for sale stamp on it..traded off to pat brady a few years ago dave
