    totally agree ref: feedback marc,,, the only reason i reactivated this thread was about the start price increase daily...the seller obviously not very experienced in the field. good luck to anyone winning this 45 and its a smooth and easy transaction.for the record its a nice enough record but......................

    probably a bad time to sell it seeing as 2 have just sold on there but its not good ebay/selling etiquette to keep putting the start price up by $500 every day. at least now we know the seller is genuine it would attract several bids but now its at $5000 start ( and may rise again tomorrow) they might price themselves out of the market...... maybe she should have a buy it now clause

    the quality of the book is superb... as for bootlegs john maybe doing a more indepth version of the bootleg guide he did some years ago. taken at face value its gotta be very good. i`m trying to save the reading of it til my holidays but i have had a quick crafty look. i wish he`d change the value of tyrone thomas on polydor tho been £15 since the first ever book..never in the creation is this 45 £15 lol i suspect john hasnt had a copy in stock since the first guide was published probably why it hasnt gone up.. loads have changed tho some gone up ................some gone down

    just been on popsike and i can only see the one steve clancy sold for £27.. but really i think copies just go under the radar( as the one i bought back did ) and collectors lack of knowledge means they`d pick up the repress not knowing it was such

    ive had a couple of 1st issues over the years but did start out years ago with the 2nd issue for a quid... i sold an original to saus in the mid 90`s for a tenner..he said at the time he`d never seen one before and bought the one i have now for $3.99 on ebay about 7 years ago. not mega rare imo but not common but i dont think its got any real demand at present....its a great record tho and if it were spun again who knows

    really youd be pickin your fave 45 from that list because that would end up beatin frank wilson.....mine would be patti and the emblems at no 38 but she would have hard fought victories against dena barnes at 19 and mel britt at 28

    ive only seen the one usa issue in my life.....gary smelt at pitches in rotherham £40 i think... was in 1995 tho..had a couple of demo`s luckily still have it . thats mine in post no 10 on this thread

    if the 584200 release would have been issued chances are the brunt of copies would have had pushed out centers as was the norm in mid 68. incidentally atco is the orig usa label and i take it the cotillion one is from when the uk hit in 71

    was the issue ever booted... my issue is on vinyl and says 1973 on it not 1974....the issue above looks styrene
